Summary

This three-year-old GLC 300 Coupe offers the perfect balance of sporty aesthetics and everyday practicality for the UAE lifestyle. With the AMG trim, you benefit from aggressive exterior styling and premium cabin finishes that command a stronger resale value in the local market compared to standard models. The black-on-black color combination is a top-tier choice for GCC buyers, ensuring high demand and value retention. Its mileage is well within the expected range for a vehicle of this age in a region where long-distance commuting is standard. This remains a standout choice for those seeking a prestigious German coupe-SUV that manages both city traffic and cross-emirate highway drives with absolute composure.

This Car vs Other 2023 GLC 300s

At 69,807 km, this vehicle sits at a very reasonable mileage for a three-year-old car in the GCC, where the average often exceeds 25,000 km annually. The black exterior is one of the most sought-after colors in the UAE used market, providing a significant advantage for future resale. Being a GCC-spec model, it is fully optimized for the local climate, ensuring the air conditioning and cooling systems perform reliably during peak summer temperatures.

AMG vs Lower Trims

The AMG trim elevates the GLC 300 with sportier front and rear bumpers, larger alloy wheels, and a more focused interior featuring a flat-bottom steering wheel and brushed aluminum accents. Unlike the base trim, this model typically includes enhanced tech features like the 360-degree camera and upgraded MBUX infotainment interface, which are highly prioritized by luxury buyers in this region.

GLC 300 vs Segment Rivals

When compared to rivals like the BMW X4 or Audi Q5 Sportback, the GLC 300 Coupe leads with a more refined interior design and the intuitive MBUX voice control system. It offers a 62-litre fuel tank which is ideal for long desert highway stretches between Dubai and Abu Dhabi, providing a greater range than several compact competitors. The Mercedes suspension tuning also provides a smoother ride over varied urban road surfaces compared to the stiffer setup found in sport-biased rivals.

Running Costs & Resale

Fuel consumption is efficient for its class, averaging around 8.2 L/100km, which helps manage costs during stop-start traffic in major GCC cities. Service intervals are typically every 15,000 km at authorized Mercedes-Benz centers, which are widely available across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Kuwait. As a GCC-spec AMG trim, it follows a more stable depreciation curve than non-regional imports, retaining a higher percentage of its value at the three-year mark.

Performance & Capability

The 2.0-liter turbocharged engine delivers a verified 0-100 km/h time of 6.3 seconds, ensuring plenty of power for quick highway overtaking. With 200 hp and a smooth 9-speed automatic transmission, the drive is responsive yet quiet, making it perfect for long-distance cruising. The rear-wheel-drive configuration provides an agile handling feel, while the selectable drive modes allow you to tailor the steering and throttle response to your driving environment.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is a highlight of the GLC 300, featuring five seats upholstered in premium materials with excellent lateral support. The powerful GCC-spec air conditioning system is designed to cool the cabin rapidly, supported by rear air vents to keep all passengers comfortable in 45-degree heat. Despite the sloping coupe roofline, the boot offers 545 litres of space, which is more than sufficient for golf bags or family shopping trips.

Safety

Standard safety equipment on this trim includes a suite of advanced driver assistance systems such as Blind Spot Assist and Active Brake Assist, which are vital for fast-moving multi-lane highway traffic. The 360-degree camera system makes parking in tight urban spaces effortless, while the multiple airbag system and high-strength steel passenger cell provide top-tier protection. Adaptive cruise control is also typically included, reducing driver fatigue during long cross-border drives.

The bottom line

This GCC-spec GLC 300 AMG Coupe is an ideal opportunity for a professional or small family looking for a stylish, well-maintained luxury SUV that is perfectly adapted to local conditions and holds its value exceptionally well.
