Summary

This Volkswagen ID.6 Crozz Pro represents an exceptional opportunity in the growing GCC electric market, pairing a massive 84.8 kWh battery with a low-mileage profile that beats typical UAE annual usage. As the mid-high tier Pro trim, it bridges the gap between value and luxury by adding premium driver aids and cabin refinements that lower-spec models lack. The ID.6 stands out from rivals by offering genuine seven-seat versatility in a dedicated EV platform, ensuring flat-floor comfort for all passengers. For the GCC buyer, this specific unit’s blue exterior offers a refreshing alternative to the sea of white and silver while maintaining a high perceived value in the secondary market. It is an ideal entry into electric family mobility for those looking to bypass the premium of a brand-new model while retaining modern range capabilities.

This Car vs Other 2022 ID 6 Crozzs

With just 14,700 km on the odometer, this ID.6 Crozz sits well below the average GCC annual mileage of 20,000 km, making it a low-use example for its year. While many similar listings in the UAE show higher wear from commercial or frequent commuting roles, this unit presents as a lightly used private vehicle. The deep blue finish is a distinctive yet resale-friendly choice in the local market, where unique colors are increasingly valued by individual buyers.

PRO vs Lower Trims

Choosing the Pro trim over the base Pure+ adds essential features for the GCC climate and driving environment, most notably the upgraded seat materials and more advanced IQ.Drive safety suite. This trim often includes the Head-Up Display (HUD) and a 360-degree camera system, which are significant upgrades for navigating tight parking in Dubai or Riyadh. You also benefit from the larger 84.8 kWh battery, providing nearly 140 km of additional range compared to the entry-level Pure models.

ID 6 Crozz vs Segment Rivals

The ID.6 Crozz competes directly with the Tesla Model Y and the Hyundai IONIQ 5, leading both in terms of raw seating capacity with its standard three-row layout. While competitors focus on futuristic styling, the ID.6 offers a more familiar, intuitive SUV ergonomics that GCC families prefer for daily school runs and grocery trips. Its dedicated rear-wheel-drive platform allows for a tighter turning circle than many petrol SUVs of this size, making it surprisingly nimble in urban traffic.

Running Costs & Resale

Running costs are significantly lower than petrol equivalents, with an average energy consumption of approximately 14.4 kWh per 100 km in mixed driving. While Chinese spec cars do not carry a local manufacturer warranty, the large and growing network of specialized EV service centers across the UAE and Saudi Arabia ensures parts and maintenance are readily available. Depreciation for the ID.6 has stabilized in the GCC, as demand for high-range, seven-seat electric SUVs remains strong among budget-conscious families.

Performance & Capability

The 313 hp powertrain provides instant torque, allowing for smooth highway merging and effortless overtaking at speed—essential for the fast-paced driving culture of the UAE. Though road-biased, the ID.6 features selectable drive modes that manage the rear-wheel-drive power delivery effectively on gravel or rain-slicked surfaces during rare weather events. Its low center of gravity, thanks to the floor-mounted battery, provides a planted and stable feel during long-distance drives across emirates.

Comfort & Cabin

The seven-seat cabin is designed with GCC summers in mind, featuring a powerful multi-zone climate control system with dedicated vents for the rear rows to ensure all passengers stay cool. The panoramic glass roof is treated to reflect high heat, while the Pro trim’s interior utilizes soft-touch materials that remain comfortable even in extreme temperatures. The flat floor design provides class-leading legroom in the second row, making it a comfortable long-distance cruiser for larger families.

Safety

Safety is managed by Volkswagen’s comprehensive IQ.Drive suite, featuring Adaptive Cruise Control and Lane Assist which are invaluable for long desert highway stretches. The vehicle is equipped with a full array of airbags and Electronic Stability Control as standard. Chinese spec models typically include front and rear parking sensors and a high-resolution 360-degree camera, providing the driver with excellent visibility in all urban environments.

The bottom line

This ID.6 Crozz Pro is the perfect match for a tech-forward family looking for a low-mileage electric seven-seater that is ready for immediate GCC road use without the long wait times of a new order.
