Summary

This Audi Q5 offers a compelling balance of low mileage and premium S-Line features, making it a standout choice in the GCC used market. With its distinctive green finish, it provides a refreshing alternative to the region's common palette while retaining the prestige associated with German engineering. The 45 TFSI powertrain delivers the extra performance needed for effortless highway cruising between emirates, outclassing the entry-level 40 TFSI variants. For a three-year-old vehicle, the 35,196 km odometer reading indicates light use well below the local average for high-highway driving. This is a versatile, tech-forward SUV perfectly suited for professional commutes or family weekend trips in climate-controlled comfort.

This Car vs Other 2023 Q5s

With just 35,196 km on the clock, this Q5 has been driven significantly less than the typical 20,000–25,000 km annual average seen in the GCC. While many three-year-old models approach the 60,000–75,000 km mark, this example remains in a prime mechanical window with lower wear on critical cooling and suspension components. The green exterior is a rare, high-character choice that maintains strong desirability for buyers looking for a unique profile in a market saturated with white and silver.

45 TFSI S-LINE vs Lower Trims

The 45 TFSI trim is a major step up from the base 40 TFSI, providing a 60 hp increase that is immediately noticeable during highway overtaking. The S-Line package replaces standard bumpers with aggressive, sporty styling and adds larger 19-inch wheels that fill the arches more effectively. Inside, this trim typically features the Audi Virtual Cockpit and premium leather upholstery, providing the high-tech cabin environment that GCC luxury buyers expect.

Q5 vs Segment Rivals

The Q5 leads rivals like the BMW X3 and Mercedes-Benz GLC with its highly intuitive MMI infotainment system and superior cabin insulation, which is vital during the intense heat of the GCC summer. Its 70-litre fuel tank provides a long cruising range that often surpasses the GLC, reducing the frequency of stops on long-distance desert highway drives. The Audi's Quattro system remains a benchmark for stability on gravel or sand-dusted roads compared to the more road-biased setups of some competitors.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption for the 45 TFSI averages around 8.0 L/100km combined, though GCC city traffic may see this rise slightly due to heavy AC usage. Audi's authorized service network is extensive across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Kuwait, ensuring reliable maintenance and parts availability. While European luxury SUVs typically see a 12-18% annual depreciation in the region, the S-Line's high specification helps it retain value better than base models as it crosses the three-year mark.

Performance & Capability

A 0-100 km/h time of 6.1 seconds ensures this SUV feels agile and responsive, a necessity for navigating fast-moving multi-lane highways. The 370 Nm of torque provides plenty of low-end grunt for carrying a full load of passengers and luggage without feeling strained. Multiple drive modes allow you to soften the suspension for city comfort or sharpen the throttle for more engaging drives through the Hajar Mountains.

Comfort & Cabin

The five-seat layout is centered around Audi’s high-quality materials and three-zone automatic climate control, ensuring rear passengers stay cool even in 45-plus degree temperatures. The S-Line sport seats provide excellent lateral support and long-distance comfort for cross-border road trips. With 550 litres of boot space, it easily accommodates large grocery runs or golf bags, while the sliding rear bench allows for flexible legroom or cargo expansion.

Safety

Equipped with a 5-star safety rating, this Q5 includes essential GCC safety features like blind-spot monitoring and Audi Pre-Sense to mitigate risks in fast-moving traffic. The standard 360-degree camera and parking sensors make navigating tight mall parking spaces effortless. Adaptive cruise control is also typically included, providing a much more relaxed experience during long highway stretches between major cities.

The bottom line

This low-mileage 2023 Q5 S-Line is the perfect opportunity for a buyer wanting German performance and a unique aesthetic without the first-year depreciation hit. It remains one of the most balanced premium crossovers for the GCC lifestyle.
