Summary

This 2023 M4 CSL is an exceptional find in the GCC, with just 1,000 km on the clock after three years of ownership. As one of only 1,000 units produced globally, it represents the absolute peak of the G82 platform, finished in Alpine White—a color that consistently commands a premium in the local resale market. While standard models serve as high-performance daily drivers, the CSL is a stripped-back collector's piece designed for the track but fully optimized for GCC road conditions. For the serious enthusiast, this is an opportunity to own a rare BMW M flagship that has barely completed its break-in period.

This Car vs Other 2023 M4s

With only 1,000 km, this vehicle's mileage is significantly lower than the GCC average of 60,000–75,000 km for a three-year-old performance car. The Alpine White exterior is the most sought-after color for resale in the region, offering superior heat reflection and market desirability compared to matte or darker launch colors. This is a rare, low-use example that presents a unique buying advantage for collectors.

CSL vs Lower Trims

The CSL trim provides a radical 100kg weight reduction over the M4 Competition by removing the rear seats and adding a carbon-fiber-reinforced plastic (CFRP) hood, roof, and trunk lid. It features standard M Carbon Ceramic brakes and exclusive track-tuned Adaptive M Suspension, which are costly options on lower trims. Inside, you get dedicated M Carbon full bucket seats and a titanium exhaust silencer that delivers a much more visceral sound profile.

M4 vs Segment Rivals

The M4 CSL leads rivals like the Porsche 911 GT3 in raw exclusivity due to its strictly capped production run and fixed global allocation. It offers a larger engine displacement and higher torque output than many four-cylinder competitors, making it better suited for the high-speed highway stretches typical of the UAE. Its Nürburgring record of 7:20.2 reinforces its status as the most capable front-engine coupe in its price bracket.

Running Costs & Resale

Typical fuel consumption for the S58 engine in GCC conditions averages 10–12 L/100km on highways, though stop-start city traffic in Dubai or Riyadh will see this rise. The car requires a mandatory 2,000 km break-in service for the differential and engine oil, meaning this 1,000 km example is due for its first major check-up soon. BMW has a robust authorized service network across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Kuwait, ensuring that specialized parts for the CSL's carbon components are accessible.

Performance & Capability

A verified 0–100 km/h time of 3.7 seconds and an electronically limited top speed of 307 km/h make this one of the fastest production BMWs ever built. The rear-wheel-drive setup is managed by a specific 10-stage M Traction Control system, allowing drivers to dial in precision for the sandy or dusty surfaces often found on GCC roads. The 550 hp output ensures effortless overtaking on the E11 or other major inter-emirate highways.

Comfort & Cabin

The two-seat cockpit is strictly focused on weight saving, featuring M Carbon bucket seats and an Alcantara-wrapped steering wheel. Despite its track focus, the GCC-spec climate control system is powerful enough to handle 45°C+ summer temperatures, and the digital cockpit provides seamless navigation across the region. The rear seat deletion provides a dedicated storage area for helmets or gear, perfect for track days at Yas Marina or Dubai Autodrome.

Safety

This trim includes standard M Carbon Ceramic brakes for maximum stopping power and fade resistance in high temperatures. Standard safety features include Lane Departure Warning, Frontal Collision Warning, and the specialized M Dynamic Mode which provides a safety net for fast driving without intrusive intervention. The Laserlight headlights offer superior visibility for night driving on unlit desert highway stretches.

The bottom line

For the GCC collector who demands the most focused BMW M car of the decade, this 1,000 km CSL in high-resale White is an unrepeatable opportunity.
