Summary

This 2023 Ferrari 812 Competizione represents the absolute peak of naturally aspirated V12 performance, delivered in a limited-run package that is already a confirmed collector's icon. With just 1,450 km on the odometer, this three-year-old example is effectively in showroom condition, offering a rare opportunity to bypass the long-closed global order books. The classic Red exterior remains the most coveted choice for Ferrari's special series models in the GCC, ensuring maximum desirability and long-term resale strength. As one of only 999 units produced, it stands as a sharper, track-focused evolution of the 812 Superfast, designed for the most discerning enthusiasts. For the GCC collector, this is a final chance to own Maranello’s highest-revving internal combustion engine before the transition to hybrid technology.

This Car vs Other 2023 812s

With only 1,450 km since new, this Competizione has been driven significantly less than the typical 5,000–7,000 km per year expected for high-end GTs in the UAE. Its low mileage makes it a top-tier investment prospect, especially as many similar special-series Ferraris in the region are either locked in long-term collections or have already seen track use. The Red exterior is a safe-haven for value retention in the GCC market, where iconic brand colors consistently command the quickest turnaround and highest premiums.

COMPETIZIONE vs Lower Trims

The Competizione is a radical departure from the 812 Superfast, introducing independent four-wheel steering and an additional 30 hp from its re-engineered 6.5L V12. It features a complete carbon-fiber aero package, including a distinct rear louver panel that replaces the glass window, and a 38 kg weight reduction. These track-honed upgrades are highly valued by GCC buyers who appreciate the mechanical purity and the exclusive 'Special Series' status that standard GTS or Superfast models do not carry.

812 vs Segment Rivals

While rivals like the Lamborghini Aventador SVJ offer mid-engine theatrics, the 812 Competizione leads with its sophisticated front-mid engine balance and a stratospheric 9,500 rpm redline that no competitor can match. It offers a larger 92-litre fuel tank, making it far better suited for cross-emirate drives between Dubai and Abu Dhabi than more cramped supercars. Its blend of extreme track capability and usable grand touring comfort provides a versatility that track-focused rivals from McLaren often lack.

Running Costs & Resale

This European-spec example benefits from Ferrari's global 7-year Genuine Maintenance program, which covers all scheduled annual services at authorized centers across the UAE and the wider GCC. While fuel consumption reflects the high-performance nature of a 12-cylinder engine, the V12's reliability in high-temperature environments is well-proven compared to complex turbo-hybrids. Resale value for the Competizione has shown exceptional strength, with early appreciation already evident as production has ceased and global demand continues to climb.

Performance & Capability

A 0–100 km/h time of 2.85 seconds and a top speed of 340 km/h place this Ferrari in the upper echelons of modern performance. The engine utilizes titanium connecting rods and a lighter crankshaft to achieve its record-breaking rev limit, providing an visceral soundtrack perfect for the UAE's open highways. The independent rear-wheel steering system ensures razor-sharp turn-in and high-speed stability, making it as capable on a weekend run to Jebel Jais as it is on the Dubai Autodrome.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is a minimalist, driver-focused environment featuring extensive use of carbon fiber and lightweight technical fabrics to save weight. Despite its track focus, it retains the essential dual-zone climate control required for the GCC summer and an ergonomic layout designed for high-speed grand touring. The racing seats are finished in high-grip materials, ensuring the driver remains perfectly positioned during spirited driving while maintaining enough support for longer highway journeys.

Safety

Safety is managed by Ferrari's most advanced vehicle dynamics suite, including Side Slip Control (SSC) 7.0 and high-performance carbon-ceramic brakes. The four-wheel independent steering provides an extra layer of stability during emergency maneuvers on fast-moving UAE highways. Standard safety features also include multiple airbags and advanced traction management systems calibrated specifically for the rear-wheel-drive layout.

The bottom line

This is a rare opportunity for a serious collector to secure a near-delivery mileage example of Ferrari's most extreme V12 berlinetta, perfectly suited for the UAE's elite automotive landscape.
