Summary

This 2023 Hyundai Palisade is a standout choice for families in the UAE, offering a refined grey exterior that holds its value exceptionally well in the local secondary market. With mileage sitting well below the typical 25,000 km annual average for GCC drivers, this vehicle remains in its prime for long-distance cruising across the Emirates. The Premium trim bridges the gap between everyday utility and executive luxury, making it a sophisticated alternative to mainstream American rivals. Its 3.8L V6 provides the effortless highway passing power necessary for frequent Dubai-Abu Dhabi commutes. For a buyer seeking the latest design refresh and a highly functional three-row cabin, this specific listing represents one of the most balanced opportunities currently available.

This Car vs Other 2023 Palisades

With just 38,880 km on the odometer, this Palisade has been driven significantly less than the 50,000 km usually seen on two-year-old SUVs in the GCC. The grey exterior is a strategic choice for the region, offering much better heat reflection than darker tones while maintaining a higher resale premium than niche colors. This low-mileage example offers a rare chance to acquire a late-model flagship SUV that still feels mechanically fresh.

PREMIUM vs Lower Trims

The Premium package elevates the Palisade beyond the standard SEL by adding the essential 360-degree View Monitor and a high-resolution 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster. It trades the standard second-row bench for luxurious captain's chairs, significantly improving passenger comfort during summer road trips. You also benefit from additional ADAS safety layers and upgraded cabin materials that are typically reserved for the top-tier Calligraphy trim.

Palisade vs Segment Rivals

When compared to the Toyota Highlander and Ford Explorer, the Palisade leads in third-row legroom and interior tech integration. Its unibody construction provides a smoother, more car-like ride quality on paved UAE highways compared to larger body-on-frame competitors. The inclusion of dedicated rear-seat climate controls and a superior infotainment interface makes it a more modern family logistics tool than its domestic rivals.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption averages 10.7L/100km, which is competitive for a V6-powered seven-seater on long highway runs. While this is an American spec vehicle, parts share 95% commonality with GCC-spec models, and Hyundai's extensive authorized network across the UAE and Saudi Arabia ensures easy maintenance. The Palisade has established a strong reputation for value retention, typically depreciating slower than European equivalents in the local market.

Performance & Capability

The 295 hp 3.8L V6 engine is paired with an HTRAC All-Wheel Drive system that includes a dedicated Tow Mode for hauling up to 2,268 kg. Its 8-speed automatic transmission is tuned for refinement, providing smooth shifts that mask the vehicle's size in stop-start city traffic. The selectable drive modes allow you to optimize traction for sandy weekend parking or heavy rain, ensuring confidence across all UAE driving conditions.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is designed for the heat, featuring powerful dual-zone automatic climate control with dedicated vents for all three rows. Acoustic-laminated glass ensures a quiet environment, shielding passengers from road noise during high-speed desert crossings. With the second-row captain's chairs, the interior feels more like a private lounge, providing easier access to the third row without sacrificing cargo versatility.

Safety

Standard safety on this trim includes a comprehensive ADAS suite featuring Forward Collision-Avoidance, Blind-Spot Monitoring, and Lane Keeping Assist, which are vital for the UAE's fast-paced multi-lane highways. The 360° camera system makes parking this large SUV in tight mall spaces effortless. It also features a rear occupant alert and safe exit assist, providing essential protection for families with young children.

The bottom line

Perfect for the growing family that refuses to compromise on technology, this low-mileage Palisade offers the premium features of a luxury SUV with the proven reliability of a Hyundai.
