Summary

This 2023 Tucson Comfort is an exceptionally logical choice for GCC buyers, featuring remarkably low mileage that suggests it has spent minimal time on the region's heavy-commute highways. The blue exterior offers a stylish alternative to the common monochromatic palette while maintaining strong desirability for local resale. As a GCC-spec model, it is factory-equipped with a high-capacity cooling system and radiator specifically designed to handle extreme summer temperatures across the Emirates. Its 2.0-litre engine provides a reliable, naturally aspirated powertrain that is easy to maintain and highly compatible with regional fuel grades. For a small family or urban professional, this listing represents a nearly-new vehicle without the steep initial depreciation of a showroom purchase.

This Car vs Other 2023 Tucsons

With just 23,000 km, this Tucson sits well below the typical GCC annual average of 25,000 km, making it a high-value entry in the used market. The Blue exterior is a refreshing choice that stands out in city traffic while remaining easy to detail for long-term resale. Being a GCC-spec vehicle, it avoids the service and warranty complications often found with American or European imports in the local market.

Comfort vs Lower Trims

The Comfort trim bridges the gap between basic utility and modern convenience, adding essential safety tech like Lane Keep Assist and Forward Collision Warning that are often absent on base Smart trims. Inside, you benefit from a significantly larger infotainment screen and a dedicated rear-view camera, which are crucial for navigating busy UAE parking structures and fast-moving highway traffic.

Tucson vs Segment Rivals

Compared to the Toyota RAV4 and Mazda CX-5, the Tucson offers a more contemporary design language and a more competitive cargo capacity at 539 litres. Its cabin ergonomics are specifically tailored for family use, offering class-leading second-row legroom that rivals larger SUVs in the segment. The Tucson’s infotainment interface is widely regarded as more intuitive and user-friendly for daily GCC commuting than its Japanese competitors.

Running Costs & Resale

Fuel consumption for the 2.0L FWD powertrain averages approximately 8.1L/100km, which is efficient for both stop-start city traffic in Dubai and long-distance drives to Riyadh. Maintenance is straightforward due to the extensive Hyundai authorized service network available in every major GCC city, ensuring parts are always readily available. Historically, the Tucson holds roughly 65% of its value after three years in the local market, outperforming many European rivals.

Performance & Capability

The 156 hp Smartstream engine is paired with a smooth 6-speed automatic transmission, delivering a relaxed driving experience suited for urban environments. It features a top speed of 181 km/h and handles the UAE's high-speed highway limits with stability and minimal wind noise. While optimized for the road, the 170 mm ground clearance provides peace of mind when traversing gravel paths or mounting curbs in developing urban areas.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is designed to combat regional heat with a powerful air conditioning system and dedicated rear cooling vents that ensure all five passengers stay comfortable during July. The 60/40 split-folding rear seats allow for massive cargo flexibility, expanding the boot to over 1,000 litres for weekend shopping or cross-border road trips. High-quality acoustic glass helps isolate the interior from the noise of multi-lane highway traffic, creating a refined atmosphere for all occupants.

Safety

Safety is a primary focus for this trim, which comes standard with a 5-star ANCAP safety rating. Key features include Electronic Stability Control and Hill-start Assist, which are particularly useful on sand-swept roads or inclined parking ramps. The full ADAS suite, including blind-spot monitoring and driver attention warning, provides an extra layer of protection during long, repetitive desert highway drives.

The bottom line

This low-mileage Tucson is the perfect fit for a GCC resident seeking a dependable, tech-ready family SUV that is already optimized for the local climate and service network.
