Summary

This 2023 Infiniti QX60 Autograph represents a rare opportunity to own the pinnacle of Japanese luxury with incredibly low mileage that is significantly below the GCC annual average. As the range-topping trim, the Autograph replaces the standard second-row bench with ultra-premium captain chairs, creating a first-class travel experience that is unmatched in the mid-size SUV segment. The sleek black exterior is not only a timeless choice but also one of the most sought-after colors for resale across the UAE and wider Gulf region. Compared to its rivals, this model offers a more sophisticated interior aesthetic and a smoother naturally aspirated V6 powertrain that is perfectly suited for the regional climate. This specific listing is a standout choice for a buyer who wants a showroom-quality vehicle without the initial depreciation hit of a brand-new car. For the discerning GCC owner, the combination of regional specifications and the highest available equipment level ensures both immediate satisfaction and long-term value retention.

This Car vs Other 2023 QX60s

When evaluating this specific vehicle against other 2023 QX60 models in the GCC market, the first thing that stands out is the exceptionally low odometer reading. While the average driver in the UAE or Saudi Arabia covers between 20,000 and 25,000 km per year due to frequent inter-city travel, this vehicle has been driven less than half that distance, preserving its mechanical integrity and cabin freshness. Most other 2023 models currently available are likely to have seen significantly more use on the E11 or other major highways. Furthermore, being the Autograph trim, it sits in a higher tier than the more common Luxe or Sensory grades found in local listings. The black-on-black color combination is a major advantage here, as it remains one of the fastest-selling configurations in the secondary market. Choosing this vehicle means opting for a car that is essentially in its break-in period, offering a level of preservation that is rare for a one-year-old SUV in this region.

AUTOGRAPH vs Lower Trims

Moving up to the Autograph trim from the Sensory or Luxe levels transforms the QX60 from a premium family SUV into a legitimate luxury sanctuary. The most significant upgrade is the second-row configuration, which features semi-aniline leather-appointed captain chairs with unique quilting and a removable center console—a feature usually reserved for much larger full-size SUVs. While lower trims focus on utility, the Autograph adds a level of craftsmanship seen in the open-pore wood trim and the enhanced seat massage functions for the driver and front passenger, which are a godsend during long summer drives across the Emirates. You also get the full implementation of the 10.8-inch Head-Up Display as standard, which helps keep your eyes on the road during high-speed highway commuting. The exterior is further distinguished by the unique 20-inch alloy wheels and a black-painted roof that provides a sophisticated two-tone effect not found on base models. For GCC buyers, these high-end touches aren't just about aesthetics; they represent the specific features that hold the most value when it comes time to trade in or sell.

QX60 vs Segment Rivals

The Infiniti QX60 competes in a crowded segment against the Lexus RX, BMW X5, and Cadillac XT6, but it carves out a unique position by balancing Japanese reliability with a more substantial, furniture-like interior design. Unlike the Lexus RX, which has moved toward smaller turbocharged engines, the QX60 retains a robust 3.5L V6 that many GCC buyers prefer for its linear power delivery and proven durability in extreme heat. Compared to European rivals like the X5, the QX60 offers a much more intuitive and user-friendly infotainment experience while providing more generous interior dimensions for passengers. The QX60 also leads many competitors in terms of standard luxury features, where rivals often require expensive optional packages for things like ventilated seats or advanced driver aids. For the family that prioritizes a serene, quiet cabin over aggressive sportiness, the Infiniti provides a level of isolation from road noise that is among the best in its class. Additionally, the ease of access to the third row makes it more practical for daily school runs or family outings than many of its tighter-packaged European counterparts.

Running Costs & Resale

Ownership of a GCC-spec QX60 is characterized by predictable costs and a strong support network. The 3.5L V6 is designed to run efficiently on local fuel grades, and while city traffic in places like Dubai or Riyadh will see higher consumption, the highway figures remain impressive for a vehicle of this size, thanks to the refined 9-speed automatic transmission. Since this is a GCC-spec vehicle, it benefits from a cooling system and air conditioning units specifically tuned for 45°C+ temperatures, which prevents the premature wear often seen in imported American or European models. Infiniti has an extensive service network across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Kuwait, ensuring that genuine parts and expert technicians are always within reach. Historically, the QX60 has shown better value retention than its German competitors, typically depreciating at a slower rate of around 10-12% annually in the local market. The low mileage on this specific unit further buffers it against depreciation, making it a sound financial choice for someone looking to keep the vehicle for 3 to 5 years.

Performance & Capability

Under the hood is the legendary VQ35 series 3.5-liter V6 engine, producing 295 horsepower and 366 Nm of torque, which provides ample power for merging onto fast-moving highways like the Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road. The transition to a 9-speed automatic transmission in this generation has significantly improved the driving experience, offering much crisper shifts and better response than the CVTs found in older models. With a towing capacity of up to 2,722 kg (when properly equipped), it is more than capable of hauling jet skis or a small boat for weekend trips to the coast. The Front Wheel Drive configuration is ideal for the urban-centric buyer, offering slightly better fuel efficiency and lower maintenance costs over the long term compared to AWD variants. Even without all-wheel drive, the QX60 handles sandy coastal roads and gravel tracks with ease thanks to its respectable ground clearance. Five distinct drive modes—Personal, Sport, Standard, Eco, and Snow—allow the driver to tailor the throttle response and steering weight to suit the specific road conditions found across the diverse GCC landscape.

Comfort & Cabin

The interior of the Autograph trim is where the QX60 truly shines, featuring a cabin that feels more like a private jet than a traditional SUV. The 4-seat configuration with second-row captain chairs ensures that every passenger enjoys ample personal space and uncompromised comfort during long cross-country journeys. For the GCC climate, the tri-zone automatic climate control is exceptionally powerful, featuring rear vents that ensure the cabin reaches a comfortable temperature quickly even after being parked in the sun. The seats are upholstered in quilted semi-aniline leather and feature both heating and ventilation, which is a critical luxury in this region. Technophiles will appreciate the 12.3-inch interactive display and the 17-speaker Bose Performance Series audio system, which provides an immersive listening experience that masks external wind noise perfectly. Added touches like the panoramic moonroof with an electric sunshade allow you to enjoy the winter sun while keeping the harsh summer heat at bay. The cabin insulation has been significantly upgraded in this generation, resulting in a whisper-quiet environment that is perfect for executive commuting.

Safety

Safety is a hallmark of the QX60, which comes equipped with the ProPILOT Assist suite of technologies as standard on this trim. This includes Intelligent Cruise Control with Full Speed Range and Hold, which is incredibly useful for navigating the stop-start traffic of major GCC metros. The 360-degree Around View Monitor with Moving Object Detection makes parking this sizable SUV in tight mall parking spots a stress-free experience. For high-speed highway driving, the Blind Spot Intervention and Lane Departure Prevention systems provide an extra layer of security against the unpredictable movements of other drivers. This model also features Predictive Forward Collision Warning, a system that can see two cars ahead to alert you to potential hazards before they become visible. With a full complement of airbags and a reinforced chassis that has earned top safety marks globally, the QX60 offers peace of mind for families. The inclusion of Rear Cross Traffic Alert and Rear Automatic Braking further ensures that reversing out of driveways or parking spaces is handled with maximum safety.

The bottom line

This QX60 Autograph is the perfect match for a buyer who wants the highest possible luxury specification and the peace of mind of ultra-low mileage. It offers a sophisticated, captain-chair experience that rivals much more expensive vehicles, making it an exceptional value proposition in the current GCC used market.
