Summary

This 2023 Jetour Dashing COM is an ideal entry point for GCC buyers looking for a sleek crossover that prioritizes design and tech without the high premium of luxury brands. With just under 35,000 km, its mileage is significantly lower than the typical 50,000 km expected for a two-year-old vehicle in the region, offering a distinct advantage in mechanical longevity. The Blue exterior is a sharp, modern choice that holds its appeal well in the local market, standing out from the usual sea of white and silver SUVs. While this is a Chinese-spec model, it shares the same robust hardware found in regional versions, making it a stylish and efficient daily driver for urban families. The most important consideration for a UAE buyer is the high-tech interior which offers more digital real estate than most rivals at this price point.

This Car vs Other 2023 Dashings

At 34,547 km, this Dashing is considered a low-mileage example compared to the 40,000–50,000 km average seen on UAE highways for 2023 models. This lower usage means less wear on the suspension and dual-clutch transmission, both of which are critical for smooth city driving in stop-start traffic. The vibrant Blue finish provides a refreshed look that maintains strong secondary market interest compared to basic flat colors.

COM vs Lower Trims

The COM (Comfort) trim serves as the primary gateway to the Dashing's tech-focused cabin, featuring the large floating touchscreen and synthetic leather seating that lower base trims often omit. Unlike entry-level versions, the COM trim includes essential GCC conveniences like the rear-view camera and digital instrument cluster as standard. It strikes the best balance between modern aesthetics and the high-efficiency 1.5L turbocharged powertrain.

Dashing vs Segment Rivals

The Jetour Dashing leads rivals like the MG ZS and Chery Tiggo 7 Pro in interior width and wheelbase, providing superior rear legroom for growing families. Its 57-litre fuel tank is larger than many in the compact segment, allowing for longer runs between Dubai and Abu Dhabi without frequent stops. Additionally, the coupe-SUV styling offers a more premium road presence than the more traditional, boxy silhouettes of its direct competitors.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption for the 1.5L turbo typically averages around 8.5 to 9.5 L/100 km in mixed GCC conditions, depending on AC usage during summer months. As a Chinese-spec vehicle, it offers a lower initial acquisition cost, though buyers should note that authorized dealer warranties may not apply; however, the shared parts bin with GCC models ensures parts are widely available through independent specialists. Service intervals are recommended every 10,000 km at reputable service centers across the UAE and Saudi Arabia.

Performance & Capability

The 1.5L turbocharged engine delivers 154 hp and 230 Nm of torque, providing plenty of mid-range punch for confident highway overtaking across the Emirates. The 6-speed automatic transmission is tuned for efficiency, keeping the RPMs low during long-distance cruises between cities. With a ground clearance of 160 mm, it easily handles high speed bumps and gravel access roads common in newer residential developments.

Comfort & Cabin

The five-seat cabin is designed with a library-level quietness claim, using acoustic materials to isolate passengers from road noise on high-speed roads. The 2,720 mm wheelbase ensures that the flat-folding rear seats provide a genuinely usable load space of up to 977 litres for weekend gear. Smart features like the digital air conditioning system are essential for maintaining a cool cabin during the peak of the Middle Eastern summer.

Safety

Standard safety equipment on the COM trim includes essential stability controls (ESP) and ABS with EBD to maintain grip on sandy or rain-slicked surfaces. The inclusion of a rear parking camera and ultrasonic sensors helps navigate tight mall parking spaces, while ISOFIX points in the rear make it a secure choice for families with small children. Multiple airbags and a high-strength steel body structure provide solid passive protection for all occupants.

The bottom line

For the buyer who wants 2025-style tech and design at a used-market value, this low-mileage 2023 Dashing is a highly competitive alternative to established Japanese and Korean crossovers.
