Summary

This 2023 Jetour X70 COM offers an exceptional balance of modern technology and family-sized space, featuring a 7-seat configuration that remains highly sought after in the GCC market. With a fuel-efficient 1.5L turbocharged engine, it provides a cost-effective alternative to larger SUVs while maintaining a commanding road presence and premium interior feel. The striking Blue exterior paired with standard features like the panoramic sunroof and 360-degree camera makes it a standout choice for urban families. Given its three-year age and the brand's rapid growth in the region, this listing represents a strategic entry into a modern SUV with excellent spare parts availability across the UAE. It is an ideal solution for those who prioritize cabin tech and seating capacity without the high running costs of a V6 or V8 engine.

This Car vs Other 2023 X70s

With 73,000 km on the odometer, this vehicle sits within the expected mileage range for a three-year-old family SUV in the GCC, where annual averages typically reach 25,000 km. The vibrant Blue finish is a refreshing departure from the common white and silver fleet, offering better individual character while remaining a respected choice for resale. Its condition reflects the typical highway-heavy usage of the region, ensuring the mechanical components have been operated at optimal temperatures.

COM vs Lower Trims

The COM trim is a significant step up from the base model, introducing essential GCC comforts like the massive 1.1-square-meter panoramic sunroof and a high-definition 360-degree camera system for easier parking. It also upgrades the cabin experience with a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and a power-operated tailgate, features that add genuine daily convenience and higher value retention in the used market.

X70 vs Segment Rivals

The X70 often leads rivals like the MG HS or Changan CS75 in terms of raw interior volume and the inclusion of a standard third row, which many competitors in this price bracket omit. Its wheelbase of 2,745 mm ensures superior legroom for second-row passengers, a critical factor for families during long inter-city drives between Dubai and Abu Dhabi. Additionally, the X70's focus on a softer, comfort-oriented suspension makes it better suited for the high-speed smoothness of UAE highways compared to sportier, firmer rivals.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption for the 1.5L turbo engine averages around 7.6 L/100km, offering significant savings during daily stop-start city commutes. Jetour has established a strong authorized service network through Elite Motors in the UAE and major distributors across the KSA and Oman, ensuring parts are affordable and widely available. While Chinese brands initially see higher depreciation than Japanese stalwarts, the X70's high initial equipment level helps it maintain a steady value floor at the 3-year mark.

Performance & Capability

The 154 hp turbocharged engine is specifically tuned for efficiency and smooth power delivery, providing ample torque for highway overtaking and full-passenger loads. Its front-wheel-drive layout is optimized for road stability and lower maintenance, making it a reliable workhorse for tarmac-based family adventures. With a ground clearance of approximately 210 mm, it easily handles gravel tracks and speed bumps without the complexity of a heavy 4x4 system.

Comfort & Cabin

The interior is designed for the GCC climate, featuring a powerful multi-zone automatic air conditioning system with dedicated vents for the rear rows to ensure all seven passengers stay cool in the summer heat. High-quality synthetic leather seats provide a premium feel and are easy to maintain after family beach trips or desert outings. The cabin is further elevated by the dual-screen digital cockpit, which provides a modern, tech-forward environment for the driver.

Safety

Standard safety equipment on the COM trim includes an electronic stability program (ESP), traction control, and a tire pressure monitoring system which is vital for maintaining safety during high-temperature highway runs. The 360-degree camera provides excellent visibility in tight urban parking spots, while the lane departure warning system adds an extra layer of security for long-distance desert drives. ISOFIX child seat anchors are standard, confirming its role as a dedicated family vehicle.

The bottom line

This Jetour X70 is a smart opportunity for a buyer needing 7-seat versatility and modern tech without the premium price tag of a brand-new model. It offers the perfect mix of GCC-ready cooling, high specifications, and proven reliability for the regional market.
