Summary

This 2023 Performante is a standout opportunity in the GCC market, offering the most aggressive and track-focused iteration of the world's premier super-SUV. With mileage sitting right at the expected average for a three-year-old high-performance vehicle in the UAE, it has been driven enough to remain mechanically fit without being overworked. The silver exterior is a top-tier choice for the region, known for its excellent heat reflection and strong resale demand across Dubai and Abu Dhabi. While rivals offer comfort, the Performante is defined by its titanium Akrapovic exhaust and lightweight carbon fiber bodywork that fundamentally changes the driving character. For the serious GCC owner, this spec represents the ultimate balance of exotic presence and the reliability of a localized GCC-spec vehicle.

This Car vs Other 2023 Urus's

With approximately 29,760 km on the odometer, this vehicle has covered just under 10,000 km per year, which is significantly lower than the typical 20,000 km annual average for GCC-driven SUVs. This lower usage translates to better preserved interior surfaces and mechanical components, offering a clear advantage for long-term value. The silver finish is particularly well-suited to the GCC climate, staying cooler under the summer sun while being one of the most sought-after colors in the secondary market.

PERFORMANTE vs Lower Trims

The Performante trim moves away from the standard air suspension in favor of a fixed steel-spring setup that lowers the car by 20mm and significantly sharpens the handling for Dubai's highway curves. It also introduces a dedicated 'Rally' mode for high-speed stability on loose surfaces and replaces the standard exhaust with a full-titanium Akrapovic system. These mechanical upgrades, along with a 47kg weight reduction, provide a much more visceral experience than the comfort-oriented Urus S.

Urus vs Segment Rivals

The Urus Performante leads the segment against rivals like the Aston Martin DBX707 and the Ferrari Purosangue by offering a more extensive carbon fiber package and a track-ready 0–100 km/h time of 3.3 seconds. Its 85-liter fuel tank is essential for long-distance travel between emirates, providing a greater range on the E11 than many high-strung competitors. Furthermore, Lamborghini's strong presence and established service network across the UAE and KSA offer more peace of mind than smaller boutique brands.

Running Costs & Resale

Fuel consumption is rated at approximately 14.1 L/100km on the combined cycle, though GCC owners should expect higher figures during stop-start city traffic in Riyadh or Dubai. Service intervals are typically scheduled every 10,000 km or 12 months, and as a GCC-spec vehicle, it benefits from full compatibility with authorized Lamborghini service centers across the region. The Performante holds its value exceptionally well, typically seeing a depreciation of only 12-15% annually in the UAE market, outperforming most luxury SUVs at the three-year mark.

Performance & Capability

The heart of this machine is a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 producing 657 hp and 850 Nm of torque, enabling effortless highway overtaking and high-speed cruising. The Performante’s unique aerodynamic package increases downforce by 38%, keeping the vehicle planted during spirited drives on mountain passes like Jebel Jais. While designed for the road, the AWD system and Rally mode ensure it handles sand-strewn coastal roads and gravel tracks with absolute precision.

Comfort & Cabin

The 4-seat configuration features a rear center console, providing a first-class experience for all passengers during long desert drives. The cabin is heavily trimmed in Alcantara to prevent the seating surfaces from becoming too hot in the GCC summer, and the multi-zone climate control system is engineered to handle extreme temperatures efficiently. Despite its track focus, the cabin remains highly insulated, providing a refined environment for daily commuting.

Safety

Standard safety equipment includes a full ADAS suite with adaptive cruise control and blind-spot monitoring, which are vital for navigating the fast-moving traffic on the UAE's multi-lane highways. The Performante also features massive carbon-ceramic brakes as standard, providing fade-free stopping power even in high-heat conditions. Stability control and torque vectoring work together to maintain grip on the diverse road surfaces found across the GCC, from polished city asphalt to dusty desert roads.

The bottom line

This GCC-spec Performante is the ideal choice for a buyer who wants the sharpest-driving SUV on the market in a resale-friendly color and with well-maintained mileage. It offers a much higher level of exclusivity and performance than the standard model, making it a definitive trophy for any GCC garage.
