Summary

This 2023 McLaren Artura represents the cutting edge of high-performance hybrid technology, offering a perfect balance between everyday usability and track-focused aggression. With only 18,000 km on the odometer, this GCC-spec example has been driven sparingly, averaging well below the typical 20,000–25,000 km annual distance seen in the region. The vibrant Blue exterior is a highly sought-after shade in the UAE, ensuring strong resale demand compared to more niche colors. As a modern supercar, the Artura stands out from rivals like the Ferrari 296 GTB by offering a more refined carbon-fiber architecture and a revolutionary powertrain that handles the intense heat of the Gulf with ease. Ownership of such a vehicle in the GCC is supported by a robust authorized service network, making it a reliable choice for those who want supercar thrills without the headaches of older, less sophisticated platforms. This specific listing is a rare opportunity to own a nearly-new hybrid supercar that is perfectly acclimated to the local environment and ready for immediate delivery.

This Car vs Other 2023 Arturas

When comparing this specific vehicle to other 2023 Artura models currently available in the GCC market, the mileage is a significant differentiator. At 18,000 km, it sits in the 'sweet spot' of having been properly run-in and maintained without the heavy wear associated with high-use examples. Most supercars in the UAE of this age tend to either be stationary collectors' items or high-mileage daily drivers; this car offers a middle ground that suggests mechanical health and regular lubrication of the hybrid components. The Blue exterior is a classic McLaren choice that holds its value exceptionally well in the local secondary market, often fetching a premium over basic silver or white. Being a GCC-spec car, it retains the full factory support and cooling configurations necessary for our extreme summer temperatures, which is a major advantage over imported North American or European units.

STANDARD vs Lower Trims

While the Artura is primarily differentiated by interior themes like Performance, TechLux, and Vision, the standard configuration on this model provides everything a purist driver requires. It includes the core McLaren Carbon Lightweight Architecture (MCLA) which is the foundation of the car's agility and is not compromised across different trim levels. This version features the essential driver-focused cockpit, ensuring that the weight remains at an absolute minimum for maximum performance. You still receive the high-definition infotainment system and the full suite of powertrain adjustments that allow you to toggle between E-mode and Track mode effortlessly. In the GCC, many buyers prefer this cleaner configuration as it allows for a more focused driving experience while still benefiting from the standard premium materials and climate control systems that are essential for the region.

Artura vs Segment Rivals

The Artura competes directly with the Ferrari 296 GTB and the Lamborghini Huracán Tecnica, but it carves out its own niche by being significantly lighter thanks to its bespoke carbon fiber tub. While rivals often rely on older platform architectures, the Artura was built from the ground up to be a hybrid, meaning the battery placement and weight distribution are optimized for balance on winding roads like Jebel Hafeet. Its 2.5L V6 twin-turbo engine is remarkably compact, allowing for better cooling airflow, a critical factor when driving at high speeds in the 45°C heat of a Dubai summer. Furthermore, the Artura offers a dedicated electric-only mode with a respectable range, which is perfect for quiet early-morning starts in residential communities or navigating heavy stop-start traffic in downtown Riyadh. Its visibility and ergonomics also lead the segment, making it a much more approachable supercar for daily use compared to the more cramped cabins of its Italian competitors.

Running Costs & Resale

Running a hybrid supercar in the GCC offers a unique set of financial advantages, particularly regarding fuel efficiency during urban commutes where the electric motor takes the brunt of the load. Real-world consumption is impressively low for a 600 hp machine, and it accepts the high-octane Super 98 fuel readily available across all ADNOC and ENOC stations. Service intervals for McLaren are generally every 15,000 km or once a year, and with 18,000 km already covered, this car has likely recently undergone its first major check-up. Authorized service centers in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and across the border in Saudi Arabia are well-equipped with specialized technicians for the Artura’s hybrid system. In terms of depreciation, McLaren's latest generation of cars is showing better price stability in the GCC than previous models like the 570S, largely due to the increased reliability and the 5-year warranty packages often associated with regional spec cars. You can expect this model to retain its value well over the next three years, especially as the market shifts toward high-performance electrification.

Performance & Capability

The headline figure is the 0–100 km/h sprint, which is achieved in a blistering 3.0 seconds, firmly placing this car in the top tier of global performance. With 600 hp and 585 Nm of torque delivered to the rear wheels, the Artura provides an visceral acceleration experience that is particularly rewarding on the wide, open highways of the UAE. The top speed is electronically limited to 330 km/h, though its true capability is felt in its mid-range punch during overtaking maneuvers. It features four distinct powertrain modes—E-mode, Comfort, Sport, and Track—allowing the driver to transform the car's personality from a silent cruiser to a loud, aggressive track weapon. The handling is aided by an electronically controlled differential, the first of its kind on a McLaren, which provides incredible traction when powering out of corners. Despite being a low-slung coupe, the nose-lift system ensures that speed bumps and villa entrances in the GCC are navigated without any concern for the front splitter.

Comfort & Cabin

Inside, the Artura features a two-seat configuration that feels surprisingly spacious for a mid-engine supercar, thanks to the slimline design of the dashboard and doors. The air conditioning system is exceptionally powerful, specifically engineered to bring cabin temperatures down rapidly even after the car has been parked in the direct sun. The seats are designed for long-distance comfort, making the drive between Dubai and Abu Dhabi a fatigue-free experience. High-quality Alcantara and leather surfaces provide a luxury feel, while the vertical 8-inch touchscreen handles all media and navigation tasks with smartphone-like responsiveness. Noise insulation has been significantly improved over previous McLaren models, ensuring that highway road noise is kept to a minimum so you can enjoy the premium audio system. The cabin also features subtle ambient lighting and enough storage space for two weekend bags, making it a genuine grand tourer for cross-border trips.

Safety

Safety in the Artura is handled by a combination of a high-strength carbon fiber occupant cell and a comprehensive suite of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS). Standard features include Intelligent Adaptive Cruise Control, which is a lifesaver on the long stretches of highway between the Emirates, and Lane Departure Warning to keep you centered during high-speed travel. The braking system utilizes carbon-ceramic discs and aluminum calipers, providing immense stopping power that does not fade even under intense heat or repeated use. Blind Spot Monitoring and Rear Cross Traffic Detection are also standard, providing crucial visibility on busy multi-lane roads where smaller sports cars can sometimes be obscured. This level of safety tech is often an optional extra on competing supercars, but McLaren has included it here to ensure the Artura is as safe as it is fast.

The bottom line

This GCC-spec 2023 McLaren Artura is the ideal choice for a buyer who wants the latest in hybrid performance with the peace of mind that comes from low mileage and regional optimization. It offers a unique combination of silent city driving and world-class track capability, making it the most versatile supercar currently available in the UAE market.
