Summary

This 2023 Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG with the Brabus G800 package is a rare specimen that offers a significant power advantage over the standard factory model. With 65,400 km on the clock, its mileage is typical for a performance-oriented 3-year-old vehicle in the GCC, where highway-heavy driving is the norm. The unique green exterior and Brabus Widestar body kit provide immense road presence that stands out even in the G-Wagon-rich landscape of the UAE. As a Brabus conversion, it holds a specific niche in the market for collectors and performance enthusiasts looking for more exclusivity than a standard AMG. For any buyer in the region, the combination of extreme output and the iconic G-Class silhouette makes this a definitive power statement.

This Car vs Other 2023 G63 AMGs

While the standard 2023 G63 is a common sight on UAE roads, this Brabus G800 variant offers a level of exclusivity and performance that factory models cannot match. The 65,400 km mileage is average for a three-year-old vehicle in this region, reflecting regular use on the well-maintained highways of the Emirates. The distinctive green finish is a bold alternative to the standard palette, often appealing to buyers looking for a personalized, high-resale-value statement vehicle.

BRABUS G800 vs Lower Trims

The G800 trim is a comprehensive re-engineering of the standard G63, adding 215 hp and 150 Nm of torque through upgraded turbochargers and custom engine mapping. Beyond the power, it features the Widestar carbon-fiber body kit, which increases the vehicle width by nearly 10 centimeters, and 23-inch forged wheels that are highly prized in the GCC market. Inside, the Brabus treatment typically adds bespoke leather quilting and additional carbon fiber elements that surpass the factory AMG interior.

G63 AMG vs Segment Rivals

The Brabus G800 competes in an elite tier against the Lamborghini Urus and the Mansory-tuned variants of the Rolls-Royce Cullinan. It leads the segment with its unique body-on-frame architecture, providing a rugged durability and high-seating position that rivals cannot emulate while offering a 4.1-second sprint time that keeps pace with modern super-SUVs. For long-distance GCC driving, its 100-liter fuel tank offers a superior highway range compared to more road-biased performance crossovers.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption for the G800 averages around 14.8 L/100km, though this will increase in the stop-start traffic of Dubai or Riyadh. As a European spec vehicle, it benefits from high build quality, though buyers should verify service compatibility with local authorized dealers. The G-Class generally has the strongest value retention in the luxury SUV segment, and while European imports can trade at a slight difference to GCC-spec cars, the Brabus name often offsets this by attracting a more specialized, global buyer profile.

Performance & Capability

With a verified top speed of 240 km/h, the G800 is one of the fastest SUVs available, making highway overtaking effortless across the long stretches between emirates. The All-Wheel Drive system is paired with three independent locking differentials, ensuring that despite its luxury tuning, it retains the legendary off-road capability required for desert terrain. The active stainless-steel sport exhaust allows the driver to toggle between a discrete Coming Home mode and a full-throated V8 roar at the touch of a button.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is a 5-seat luxury environment featuring the Brabus Masterpiece interior, which includes ventilated front seats and high-performance climate control essential for the GCC summer. Acoustic glass and extensive insulation protect passengers from external heat and wind noise during high-speed cruising. The digital cockpit is integrated with the MBUX system, providing seamless connectivity and premium audio for an immersive driving experience.

Safety

Standard safety features on this trim include a 360-degree camera system, which is invaluable for maneuvering the widened body kit in tight urban spaces. It features a full suite of ADAS technology, including Active Lane Keeping Assist and blind-spot monitoring, which provide critical support on fast-moving multi-lane highways. The robust military-inspired construction offers a level of passive safety and road presence that few other luxury vehicles can provide.

The bottom line

For the buyer who finds the standard G63 too common, this Brabus G800 offers the perfect blend of extreme performance and limited-edition exclusivity in a striking colorway.
