Summary

This nearly-new sedan is the ultimate choice for GCC commuters prioritizing efficiency and low running costs. As a top-spec Highline trim, it bridges the gap between budget-friendly motoring and modern convenience with upgraded tech. Its silver exterior is ideal for the regional climate, reflecting heat effectively and ensuring strong resale demand across the UAE and beyond. At just three years old with average GCC mileage, this unit offers a reliable entry point into the market without the steep depreciation of a new car. For those driving between emirates, its optimized cooling and legendary mechanical durability make it a standout sensible buy.

This Car vs Other 2023 Attrages

With a mileage of 72,671 km, this vehicle sits comfortably within the expected usage range for a three-year-old car in the GCC, where annual averages often exceed 20,000 km. The silver finish is a high-demand resale color in the regional market, offering a neutral and heat-reflective advantage over darker alternatives. This specific unit represents the peak of the model year's offerings, combining recent manufacturing refinements with the most comprehensive feature set available.

GLX HIGHLINE vs Lower Trims

The GLX Highline trim significantly upgrades the ownership experience by adding a 7-inch Smartphone-link Display Audio system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration. Unlike the base GLX, this version features 15-inch alloy wheels, a rear-view camera, and steering wheel-mounted audio controls. These additions are highly valued by GCC buyers who require seamless connectivity and parking assistance in busy urban environments like Dubai and Riyadh.

Attrage vs Segment Rivals

Compared to the Suzuki Dzire and Toyota Yaris, the Attrage leads with its exceptional class-leading fuel economy of 20.8 km/L, making it more affordable to operate on long highway stretches. It also offers a competitive 450-litre boot capacity, which is surprisingly generous for a sub-compact sedan. While rivals may offer larger engines, the Mitsubishi focus on weight reduction and aerodynamics provides superior efficiency in stop-start city traffic.

Running Costs & Resale

This vehicle achieves an impressive manufacturer-official 4.8 L/100km, which translates to massive savings at the pump for high-mileage GCC drivers. Mitsubishi’s service network is one of the most robust in the region, with authorized centers easily accessible in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Oman. The Attrage typically enjoys a lower depreciation rate than European rivals, retaining its value well due to the high demand for reliable, fuel-efficient daily drivers in the secondary market.

Performance & Capability

The 1.2-litre MIVEC engine is paired with an INVECS-III CVT transmission, specifically tuned for smooth acceleration and optimal fuel delivery in high-temperature environments. It produces a reliable 76 hp, which is perfectly suited for urban navigating and steady highway cruising at regional speed limits. With a tight 4.8-meter turning radius, it offers exceptional maneuverability in tight parking structures and busy city streets.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is designed with a 'people-first' approach, featuring a high-contrast instrument cluster and ergonomic seating for five. The GCC-spec air conditioning system is exceptionally powerful, ensuring rapid cooling even during the peak of the Gulf summer. Highline trim extras like the 7-inch touchscreen and quality 4-speaker audio system provide an elevated environment for the daily commute or weekend inter-city travel.

Safety

Standard safety equipment on the Highline includes dual front SRS airbags and an Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) with Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD). It is built on Mitsubishi’s RISE (Reinforced Impact Safety Evolution) body architecture, which uses high-tensile steel to enhance structural integrity. Additional aids like the Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) and Hill Start Assist provide extra peace of mind on both highway commutes and inclined parking ramps.

The bottom line

This Attrage is the perfect match for a practical buyer seeking a fuel-sipping daily driver that doesn't compromise on modern tech. As a GCC-spec Highline in a top resale color, it offers a secure investment and the lowest possible cost of ownership in the UAE today.
