Summary

This 2023 Nissan Armada SL delivers an ideal combination of large-scale cabin space and proven V8 muscle. Coming with an eight-seat configuration and premium leather surfaces, it stands out from standard full-size options by offering elevated comfort features and advanced connectivity. The American regional spec provides excellent cabin amenities and impressive hauling capabilities, while the robust powertrain ensures effortless performance across long highway stretches. For any family seeking a dependable and exceptionally spacious cruiser, this vehicle provides an outstanding balance of longevity and everyday utility.

This Car vs Other 2023 Armadas

With a mileage of 82,578 km, this vehicle sits near the expected annual average for full-size family cruisers in the GCC used market, which frequently cover long highway distances. It offers a well-balanced mechanical profile without the steep initial depreciation of a brand-new model. The blue exterior delivers an appealing, distinctive look that provides a sophisticated alternative to more common monochromatic options.

SL vs Lower Trims

The SL trim adds highly desirable upgrades over the SV, making a significant difference in daily comfort and premium feel. It includes genuine leather-appointed seating for the first two rows, a power-sliding glass moonroof, and a power liftgate. Crucially for parking a large vehicle, it features the Intelligent Around View 360-degree monitor and a premium 13-speaker Bose audio system.

Armada vs Segment Rivals

When compared to segment rivals like the Chevrolet Tahoe or Ford Expedition, the Armada relies on its standard, naturally aspirated 5.6-litre V8 engine to offer predictable power and exceptional durability. It stands out by providing an eight-passenger seating layout across all three rows with high-quality interior finishes out of the box. Additionally, its exceptional cooling system and classic body-on-frame structure are purpose-built for demanding road conditions.

Running Costs & Resale

The 5.6-litre V8 engine delivers robust performance and utilizes standard petrol, supported by a 98-litre fuel tank that is well-suited for cross-country journeys. As an American spec vehicle, it offers excellent purchase value in the local used market compared to local variants, and parts are widely shared with GCC-spec equivalents. Nissan enjoys an extensive authorized service center network across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and other GCC countries, maintaining stable long-term resale value.

Performance & Capability

The powerhouse of this SUV is its 5.6-litre V8 engine producing 390 horsepower, paired with a smooth 7-speed automatic transmission. This setup provides an impressive maximum braked towing capacity of up to 3,855 kg (8,500 lbs), allowing you to pull large boats or campers with confidence. The rear-wheel-drive configuration ensures excellent highway efficiency, smooth cruising comfort, and dependable overtaking power under load.

Comfort & Cabin

The spacious interior accommodates up to eight passengers across three rows, featuring premium leather seating and multi-zone automatic climate control with dedicated rear vents to keep everyone cool during peak summer heat. A standard 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment display supports wireless smartphone connectivity and Amazon Alexa. Noise-reducing acoustic glass and the immersive 13-speaker Bose premium audio system transform long family road trips into a serene travel experience.

Safety

This trim is heavily equipped with active safety tech, featuring the Nissan Safety Shield 360 suite standard. It includes Automatic Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection, Blind Spot Warning, Lane Departure Warning, and Rear Cross Traffic Alert. For fast-moving multi-lane highway traffic and long desert drives, the standard Adaptive Cruise Control and Intelligent Around View 360° monitor add incredible reassurance and ease of operation.

The bottom line

This Nissan Armada SL is an exceptional opportunity for large families or adventure seekers looking for a premium, heavy-duty V8 cruiser that offers upscale tech and unmatched space without the premium price tag.
