Summary

This 2023 Nissan Patrol Super Safari is a standout choice in the GCC, offering an incredibly rare 1,600 km mileage that effectively places it in like-new condition. The Beige exterior is a premier resale color in the region, highly prized for its ability to hide desert dust and maintain value over time. As the Super Safari trim, it bridges the gap between mechanical purity and modern comfort, featuring the legendary 'King of the Desert' pedigree with essential luxury updates. For a buyer seeking the ultimate blend of iconic reliability and fresh-from-the-showroom feel, this vehicle represents a unique ownership opportunity. Its bulletproof 4.8L engine remains the single most important consideration for long-term durability in extreme Middle Eastern climates.

This Car vs Other 2023 Nissan Patrols

While typical 2023 models in the GCC have already covered 25,000 km or more, this vehicle's 1,600 km reading makes it one of the lowest-mileage examples available in the regional market. The Beige paint is a strategic choice for GCC buyers, consistently outperforming darker colors in resale liquidity and heat management. This listing offers a near-new mechanical baseline that is exceptionally hard to find for a model year already in its second year of service.

SUPER SAFARI vs Lower Trims

The Super Safari trim significantly elevates the experience over the standard Safari by adding premium tan leather upholstery and an 8-inch infotainment display with Apple CarPlay. It also features 17-inch machine-cut alloy wheels and the iconic dual-tone body aesthetic that is a recognized status symbol across the Gulf. Crucially, it includes the rear-view camera and front/rear parking sensors that are essential for navigating large SUVs in tight urban environments.

Nissan Patrol vs Segment Rivals

The Patrol Super Safari leads its primary rival, the Toyota Land Cruiser 70 Series, by offering a far more sophisticated interior and superior highway comfort while maintaining equal off-road legendary status. Its 135-litre dual fuel tank system provides a massive advantage for cross-border drives between Dubai and Riyadh compared to smaller-tank lifestyle crossovers. The 4.8L VTC engine is specifically revered in the region for its torque delivery, which outperforms smaller displacement V6 rivals in deep sand dunes.

Running Costs & Resale

The Super Safari is a champion of value retention, typically holding 60-70% of its value after three years in the GCC market, far exceeding European competitors. While real-world fuel consumption averages around 16.7 L/100km, the mechanical simplicity of the inline-six engine ensures long-term maintenance remains affordable and straightforward. Nissan’s service network is one of the most robust in the region, with parts and authorized centers readily available from Abu Dhabi to Muscat.

Performance & Capability

The 280 hp 4.8L inline-six engine delivers 451 Nm of torque, providing the low-end grunt required for effortless desert hill climbing and confident highway overtaking. It features a heavy-duty all-wheel-drive system with a low-range transfer case and a rear differential lock, allowing it to conquer terrain that would stop most modern SUVs. The 5-speed automatic transmission is specifically tuned for durability under high-load GCC summer conditions.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is a sanctuary of tan leather and wood-grain trim, designed to stay comfortable even when outside temperatures exceed 45°C. It features a powerful automatic climate control system with dedicated rear vents to ensure all seven passengers remain cool during long family trips. The interior configuration is highly flexible, with fold-flat seats that allow for significant cargo space when the third row is not in use.

Safety

Safety is managed through a suite of essential systems including Dual Front Airbags, Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC), and Anti-lock Braking (ABS). The inclusion of Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD) and a Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) provides extra security during high-speed highway cruising. These features are standard on the Super Safari trim, offering a level of active safety that complements its rugged body-on-frame construction.

The bottom line

This is a rare opportunity for a GCC enthusiast to secure a 'delivery-mileage' icon in a high-demand color, offering the perfect balance of legendary off-road soul and modern reliability.
