Summary

This 2024 Audi SQ5 Sportback offers a compelling balance of high-output performance and the distinctive, coupe-like silhouette that is highly sought after in the GCC luxury market. With low mileage for its age, it represents a nearly new opportunity to own Audi’s performance-tuned V6 crossover without the initial depreciation hit. The Navarra Blue exterior is a sophisticated choice that maintains strong resale appeal across the region, standing out from the common white and silver palettes while remaining market-appropriate. For a buyer in the UAE or wider GCC, this SQ5 delivers the perfect combination of daily refinement and the punchy overtaking power required for fast-moving highway traffic.

This Car vs Other 2024 SQ5s

At 24,000 km, this SQ5 Sportback is well below the typical GCC annual average of 25,000 km, positioning it as a low-mileage example that has primarily seen light executive use. The Navarra Blue finish is a premium paint choice that avoids the commonality of base colors, potentially aiding resale value among discerning buyers who value a unique but professional aesthetic.

TFSI SPORTBACK vs Lower Trims

The SQ5 Sportback significantly upgrades the standard Q5 experience with a turbocharged V6 engine, adaptive sport suspension, and S-specific exterior styling including quad exhaust outlets. Inside, this trim adds S-embossed sport seats and carbon atlas inlays as standard, providing the driver-focused cabin environment that GCC buyers expect from the 'S' badge.

SQ5 vs Segment Rivals

The SQ5 Sportback competes directly with the BMW X4 M40i and Mercedes-AMG GLC 43 Coupe, standing out with its standard Quattro all-wheel-drive system and superior cabin ergonomics. While rivals focus on aggressive stiffness, the SQ5 provides a more compliant ride that is better suited for the long, cross-emirate highway drives common in the UAE and Saudi Arabia.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption averages between 8.5L and 9.5L/100km on the highway, though GCC city traffic will see this rise toward 13L/100km. Being a GCC-spec vehicle, it benefits from full compatibility with local service networks like Al Nabooda or Ali & Sons, ensuring higher value retention compared to imported American or European models. Annual depreciation for this performance SUV in the UAE market typically tracks between 12-15% in the early years.

Performance & Capability

The 3.0-liter V6 produces a verified 354 hp and 500 Nm of torque, enabling a 0–100 km/h sprint in 4.9 seconds and a top speed of 250 km/h. The 8-speed Tiptronic transmission is tuned for rapid highway overtaking, while the adaptive dampers allow you to stiffen the chassis for winding roads or soften it for daily commuting. Audi's Quattro system ensures maximum traction on sandy highway shoulders and during the rare but heavy regional rainstorms.

Comfort & Cabin

The Sportback configuration offers 515 litres of cargo space, which is only slightly less than the standard SUV, maintaining high levels of practicality for family road trips. The cabin is designed for the extreme GCC heat, featuring a high-capacity climate control system with dedicated rear vents to keep all passengers cool during summer. Standard acoustic glass for the windshield helps insulate the interior from both desert heat and high-speed wind noise.

Safety

The SQ5 is equipped with a comprehensive ADAS suite including Audi Pre Sense, side assist, and adaptive cruise control, which is essential for safety on fast-moving GCC highways. The inclusion of a 360-degree camera and parking sensors makes navigating tight parking structures in Dubai or Riyadh far more manageable. Multiple airbags and a high-strength steel chassis provide a 5-star safety foundation for all occupants.

The bottom line

This 2024 SQ5 Sportback is an ideal choice for the professional seeking a low-mileage, performance SUV that combines German engineering with a sleek, high-resale body style.
