Summary

This 2024 BMW M4 Competition xDrive offers the ultimate combination of all-weather traction and supercar-level acceleration. With just 21,000 km, it sits well below the typical annual mileage for a daily-driven performance car in the UAE, making it a mechanically fresh choice for a discerning buyer. The white exterior is the gold standard for resale in the GCC, offering both heat reflection and high market demand. As a 2024 model, it features the latest curved glass interior architecture that significantly elevates the cabin over the pre-facelift versions. For the buyer who wants the sharpest handling without sacrificing the ability to drive through summer rains or across borders comfortably, this xDrive-equipped Competition trim is the definitive spec.

This Car vs Other 2024 M4s

With 21,000 km on the odometer, this M4 is in the ideal 'low-mileage' bracket for a GCC-based 2024 model, where annual averages often exceed 25,000 km. The white exterior is arguably the most sensible and sought-after color for the region, ensuring maximum heat rejection during peak summer and providing the easiest path to resale. While this is an American spec vehicle, it has been maintained to high standards and represents a significant value opportunity compared to local dealer-sourced units with similar mileage.

COMPETITION M XDRIVE vs Lower Trims

The Competition M xDrive is the flagship of the M4 range, adding 30 hp over the standard model and introducing the rear-biased all-wheel-drive system that shaves nearly a full second off the 0–100 km/h time. Unlike the base M4, this trim features the faster-shifting 8-speed M Steptronic transmission and standard Shadowline exterior accents. It also comes better equipped for the GCC climate, often including ventilated seats and the premium Harman Kardon audio system that are frequently optional on lower trims.

M4 vs Segment Rivals

The M4 Competition leads the Mercedes-AMG C63 and Audi RS5 in pure driver engagement and infotainment technology thanks to the massive 14.9-inch iDrive 8 display. Its xDrive system is uniquely configurable, allowing drivers to switch to 2WD mode for a traditional rear-wheel-drive experience that rivals like the Audi cannot match. For long drives across the Emirates, the BMW's adaptive suspension provides a more composed highway ride than the stiffer-edged Lexus RC F.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption for the S58 engine averages around 10.4 L/100km on the highway, though GCC stop-start city traffic will see this rise toward 14.6 L/100km. BMW has a massive authorized service network via AGMC and Abu Dhabi Motors in the UAE, with full support across Saudi Arabia and Kuwait. While American spec cars depreciate slightly faster than GCC spec models locally, the 2024 model year and low mileage provide a strong buffer for value retention over the next three years.

Performance & Capability

The M4 Competition xDrive rockets from 0–100 km/h in just 3.5 seconds, delivering a level of performance that was reserved for supercars only a few years ago. The intelligent M xDrive system provides exceptional stability on sandy highway shoulders and during heavy rain, while the Active M Differential ensures maximum cornering speed. With a track-limited top speed of 250 km/h, it is perfectly suited for the UAE's high-speed legal limits and occasional track days at the Dubai Autodrome.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is centered around the new BMW Curved Display, which merges a 12.3-inch instrument cluster with a 14.9-inch central touchscreen. For the GCC summer, the powerful multi-zone climate control and standard heated (and often ventilated) Vernasca leather seats ensure comfort even when temperatures exceed 45°C. The four-seat layout provides genuine room for adults in the front, while the 440-litre boot makes it surprisingly practical for weekend trips between Dubai and Abu Dhabi.

Safety

This M4 comes equipped with a comprehensive safety suite including Forward Collision Warning, City Collision Mitigation, and Lane Departure Warning, which are essential for navigating fast-moving multi-lane highways. The M-specific stability control is tuned to intervene subtly, providing a safety net without dulling the driving experience. Additionally, the 360-degree camera system and Active Blind Spot Detection provide crucial visibility in congested city traffic.

The bottom line

This is a rare opportunity to own a near-new 2024 M4 Competition xDrive in the most resale-friendly color, offering elite performance at a competitive price point for the UAE market.
