Summary

This 2025 BMW M4 Competition M xDrive represents an exceptional opportunity for a GCC buyer seeking a virtually brand-new performance icon without the wait time of a showroom order. With only 7000 km on the odometer, this vehicle is well below the typical 25,000 km annual average seen on UAE roads, effectively offering a fresh ownership experience. The Competition trim with xDrive is particularly well-suited for the region's fast-moving highways, providing the traction and stability required for high-speed commuting between emirates while maintaining the sharp agility BMW M is known for. Finished in a sophisticated Grey, it aligns with the local market's preference for neutral, high-resale palettes that resist the intense UV exposure of the Arabian sun. This specific model stands out from rivals by offering a dual-nature personality—transitioning from a refined executive coupe to a track-ready powerhouse with the touch of an M-button. For any buyer in the Gulf, the combination of extremely low mileage and the updated 2025 power output makes this a standout choice for those who value both current performance and future trade-in value.

This Car vs Other 2025 M4s

When comparing this specific unit to other 2025 models currently in the market, the primary advantage lies in its exceptionally low usage. In the GCC, where daily commutes often involve long stretches of highway driving, finding a performance vehicle with only 7000 km is a rarity that preserves the mechanical integrity of the turbocharged engine. Most vehicles of this vintage would already be approaching their first major service interval, whereas this car remains in its prime break-in phase. The Grey exterior is a strategic choice for the local market, as it hides the inevitable dust from seasonal shamals much better than black while maintaining a more premium aesthetic than plain white. Choosing a car with such low mileage ensures that the interior materials—which are often subject to heat-related wear—remain in pristine, showroom condition. This listing represents one of the cleanest examples available, offering the buyer the chance to be the primary driver throughout the car's most reliable years.

COMPETITION M XDRIVE vs Lower Trims

Stepping up to the Competition M xDrive trim over the standard M4 provides more than just a power bump; it transforms the vehicle's usability for the GCC driver. The most significant addition is the xDrive all-wheel-drive system, which is expertly tuned to maintain a rear-bias feel while providing critical grip during occasional rain-slicked roads or on dusty surfaces often found near coastal areas. This trim also includes the higher-output version of the 3.0L twin-turbo straight-six, delivering 530 hp, which is a noticeable leap over the base model's figures. Inside, the Competition trim adds essential luxury features that GCC buyers prioritize, such as the premium Harman Kardon surround sound system and enhanced M-Sport seats that offer superior support during spirited drives. Furthermore, this trim includes more aggressive exterior styling and larger staggered wheels that significantly improve the car's presence on the road. For the serious enthusiast, the Competition trim is the only logical choice to ensure the highest possible resale interest in the secondary market.

M4 vs Segment Rivals

In the competitive landscape of high-performance coupes, the M4 Competition stands tall against rivals like the Mercedes-AMG C63 and the Audi RS5. While its competitors have shifted toward smaller engines or hybrid setups, the BMW retains its legendary 3.0L inline-six, which is widely regarded for its heat management capabilities—a vital factor during the intense GCC summers. The M4 offers a more driver-centric cockpit and a more intuitive infotainment system than the Audi, making it easier to manage navigation and climate settings while on the move. Its xDrive system is also more versatile than many rivals, allowing the driver to switch into a pure rear-wheel-drive mode for track days at the Dubai Autodrome. Additionally, the M4 provides a more generous boot capacity for a coupe, making it a more viable option for weekend trips to Fujairah or Muscat compared to more cramped competitors. The cooling architecture in the M4 is specifically designed for high-stress environments, ensuring consistent performance even when the ambient temperature exceeds 45°C.

Running Costs & Resale

The running costs for a high-performance BMW in the GCC are predictable when adhering to authorized service schedules. Real-world fuel consumption for the 3.0L engine is remarkably efficient on the highway, often achieving around 9.0 L/100km, though stop-and-go traffic in downtown Riyadh or Dubai will see that figure rise significantly. This vehicle requires premium 98-octane fuel to maintain its 530 hp output, which is readily available at all major stations across the UAE and KSA. Regarding maintenance, BMW has one of the most robust service networks in the region, with flagship centers in every major city, ensuring that parts and expert technicians are never far away. As a Canadian spec vehicle, buyers should note that while the mechanical components are identical to local models, it is important to verify the remaining balance of any international service packages. Historically, the M4 Competition is one of the slowest-depreciating cars in its segment, typically retaining about 75-80% of its value after the first three years, provided the mileage remains below the regional average.

Performance & Capability

Performance is where this 2025 M4 Competition M xDrive truly excels, boasting a 0-100 km/h sprint time of just 3.5 seconds. This explosive acceleration is complemented by the 8-speed M Steptronic transmission, which provides lightning-fast shifts that are particularly satisfying when merging onto high-speed highways like E11. The 530 hp engine is a masterpiece of engineering, offering a wide torque band that makes overtaking effortless at any speed. With its advanced all-wheel-drive system, the car handles with surgical precision, feeling planted and secure even during high-velocity cornering. Multiple drive modes allow the owner to soften the suspension for a comfortable commute across the Emirates or stiffen it for a focused driving experience on mountain passes like Jebel Jais. The M-specific exhaust system provides a visceral soundtrack that enhances the driving experience without being overbearing during long-distance cruises. This is a car that feels as much at home on a professional circuit as it does on the streets of Abu Dhabi.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin of the 2025 M4 is a perfect blend of driver-focused ergonomics and premium luxury, designed to withstand the rigors of the GCC climate. The air conditioning system is exceptionally powerful, capable of cooling the interior in minutes even after the car has been parked in the sun. High-quality materials like Merino leather and carbon fiber trim create an upscale atmosphere that justifies its status as a premium performance coupe. The latest BMW iDrive system is featured on a stunning curved display, offering seamless wireless connectivity for smartphones and crystal-clear navigation. Noise insulation is top-tier, effectively blocking out wind and tire roar during 140 km/h highway stretches, allowing the Harman Kardon audio system to shine. Despite being a two-door coupe, the seating for four is surprisingly accommodative for shorter trips, and the front seats offer multi-way power adjustments to find the perfect driving position. Every touchpoint feels substantial, reflecting the high build quality expected of a modern BMW M car.

Safety

Safety is paramount in the M4, which comes equipped with BMW's most advanced suite of driver assistance systems. This includes Front Collision Warning with brake intervention and Lane Departure Warning, which are essential for navigating the dense, fast-moving traffic common in GCC metropolitan areas. The adaptive LED headlights provide incredible visibility during nighttime desert drives, automatically adjusting to prevent blinding oncoming traffic while illuminating the road ahead. Blind Spot Detection is a standard feature that adds a necessary layer of protection during multi-lane highway maneuvers. The car's chassis is constructed using high-strength steel and aluminum, providing a rigid safety cell that has earned top marks in global crash testing. Additionally, the sophisticated stability and traction control systems are specifically tuned to handle sudden changes in road surface, such as sand or gravel patches, ensuring the driver always remains in total control of the 530 hp available.

The bottom line

This low-mileage 2025 M4 Competition is the perfect acquisition for the enthusiast who wants the latest BMW performance technology in a high-resale color. It offers a significant saving over a new showroom unit while delivering the exact same 'new car' feeling and performance.
