Summary

This 2024 Exeed LX Comfort offers a modern entry into the premium SUV segment with mileage that reflects standard highway-heavy use typical in the UAE. The Grey exterior is one of the most practical choices for the region, effectively masking dust while ensuring high resale stability. As a GCC-spec vehicle, it comes equipped with a cooling system and air filtration specifically engineered for the intense heat of Riyadh and Dubai. It stands out by offering technology and safety features, such as the dual 12.3-inch screen setup, that typically cost significantly more in European rivals. This is an ideal pick for urban professionals who want a recent model year with a balance of fuel efficiency and sophisticated cabin tech.

This Car vs Other 2024 Exeed LXs

With 56,111 km, this vehicle's mileage is slightly above the GCC average of 25,000 km per year, indicating it has likely been used for long-distance highway commutes across the Emirates. In the local market, this high-use profile is common and often suggests the vehicle has spent most of its time at steady highway speeds rather than in abrasive stop-start city traffic. The Grey finish is a high-demand color in the UAE and Saudi Arabia, providing a significant advantage for future resale value over louder, niche colors.

COMFORT vs Lower Trims

The Comfort trim serves as a tech-forward baseline that includes standard features often reserved for higher trims in other brands, such as the dual 12.3-inch integrated curved displays. It provides essential GCC comfort features including a glove box with cooling and rear AC vents to maintain cabin temperature during summer. While higher trims add 19-inch wheels and 360-degree cameras, the Comfort trim maintains a softer ride on its 18-inch alloys and provides a highly competitive safety suite including cruise control and multiple airbags.

LX vs Segment Rivals

The Exeed LX leads competitors like the MG HS and Haval Jolion by offering a more refined, European-influenced cabin aesthetic and a standard 10-year engine warranty in the local market. Its 1.5L turbocharged engine is tuned for efficiency in city driving, providing a smoother CVT response than many of the dual-clutch systems found in its immediate rivals. Furthermore, its ground clearance of 200mm is particularly useful for navigating the high speed bumps and varied terrain found in developing urban areas across the GCC.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption for this 1.5T powertrain averages around 7.9 L/100km, offering a budget-friendly commute even in heavy Riyadh or Dubai traffic. Service intervals are typically scheduled every 10,000 km at authorized Al Ghurair Motors centers in the UAE, with parts availability rapidly expanding across the region. As a GCC-spec vehicle, it retains value far better than imported Chinese or American spec units, typically depreciating at a rate of 12-15% annually. Owners also benefit from one of the longest manufacturer warranties available in the region, which is a major factor in maintaining high secondary market interest.

Performance & Capability

The 1.5L turbocharged engine produces 156 hp and 230 Nm of torque, providing adequate power for overtaking on the E11 highway. The vehicle features selectable driving modes—Eco, Normal, and Sport—that adjust the steering weight and throttle response to suit either fuel-saving city crawls or more spirited driving. With a top speed of 186 km/h, it is perfectly suited for long-distance travel between major GCC cities. Its front-wheel-drive layout and 200mm ground clearance make it a capable companion for weekend family trips to the beach or gravel parking areas at outdoor venues.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is dominated by a seamless dual-screen digital cockpit that provides a premium feel rare for this price point. GCC-essential features include powerful automatic air conditioning and a cooled glovebox for keeping drinks chilled during long summer drives. The 5-seater layout offers ample legroom for a compact SUV, and the 400-litre boot space is sufficient for a full weekly grocery run or family luggage. High-quality sound insulation helps keep the cabin quiet, isolating passengers from road noise and the intense exterior heat.

Safety

Safety is a priority with a suite that includes Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Traction Control, and Hill Start Assist, all vital for maintaining grip on sandy or oil-slicked roads after light rain. The Comfort trim is equipped with multiple airbags and ISOFIX child seat anchors, making it a safe choice for young families. Standard parking sensors and a rearview camera provide confidence in tight urban parking spaces, while the high-strength steel cage construction ensures robust passenger protection in the event of a collision.

The bottom line

This Exeed LX is perfect for a buyer seeking a nearly-new SUV with premium technology and a valid dealer warranty, offering excellent value compared to brand-new inventory.
