Summary

This 2024 Exeed LX Comfort offers a sophisticated entry point into the premium crossover segment, balancing a modern aesthetic with sensible running costs. Its Grey exterior is a highly strategic choice for the region, known for masking dust during the shamal season while maintaining stable resale interest in the used market. With mileage that aligns with the higher average annual use typical of GCC highway commuting, this vehicle has already proven its mechanical durability in the local climate. It stands out by offering a high-tech cabin environment that feels significantly more upscale than traditional entry-level SUVs. For a GCC buyer, this represents a near-new vehicle opportunity that provides premium features and regional reliability at a competitive price point.

This Car vs Other 2024 Exeed LXs

With 56,133 km on the odometer, this LX is positioned within the average mileage range for a one-year-old vehicle in the GCC, where 40,000 to 60,000 km is common for highway-driven commuters. Its Grey finish is a high-demand resale color in the UAE and Saudi markets, offering better longevity and heat resistance than darker tones. This specific car represents a well-settled mechanical example that has completed its initial break-in period under regional conditions.

COMFORT vs Lower Trims

As the foundational entry into the Exeed brand, the Comfort trim is surprisingly well-equipped, including the 360-degree camera system which is often an expensive option on rivals. It features the 1.5-liter turbocharged engine paired with a 9-speed simulated CVT designed specifically for smooth urban efficiency. While higher trims add larger wheels and ADAS suites, the Comfort trim retains the dual 12.3-inch curved display setup that defines the model's premium interior feel.

LX vs Segment Rivals

The Exeed LX competes directly with the Changan CS35 Plus and the MG ZS, leading the segment with a more refined 'Aesthetics of Light' design philosophy and superior cabin insulation. Its 2,670 mm wheelbase provides competitive legroom for small families, often exceeding the interior space felt in more basic compact crossovers. The inclusion of a 360-degree camera as standard gives it a clear tech advantage for tight urban parking in Dubai or Riyadh.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel efficiency is a highlight, with an official combined rating of 6.9 L/100km making it one of the most economical petrol SUVs in its class for stop-start city traffic. Exeed is supported by an expanding authorized service network across the UAE and Saudi Arabia, typically requiring maintenance every 10,000 km or 6 months. While depreciation is slightly higher than established Japanese brands, the LX maintains a strong following in the used market due to its 7-year/200,000 km regional warranty support.

Performance & Capability

The 1.5-liter turbocharged engine delivers 145 hp and 230 Nm of torque, providing a smooth and predictable power delivery ideal for daily commuting between Emirates. It handles long highway stretches with ease, reaching a top speed of 180 km/h while maintaining composure thanks to a multi-link rear suspension that is rare in this budget segment. The front-wheel-drive setup is optimized for road efficiency, ensuring reliable performance during the peak summer heat.

Comfort & Cabin

Inside, the LX features a 'digital cockpit' experience dominated by a 24.6-inch total display area that integrates the instrument cluster and infotainment. GCC-specific comfort is addressed with a powerful air conditioning system and dedicated rear vents to ensure all five passengers remain cool in 45°C+ temperatures. The 400-liter boot space is ample for grocery runs or weekend stays, and the acoustic glass helps isolate the cabin from wind noise during fast highway cruising.

Safety

Safety is a core priority for the LX, which comes standard with a robust suite of active and passive systems. Key features include the 360-degree panoramic camera for complete visibility, multiple airbags, and Electronic Stability Control to manage sand-slicked road surfaces. It also includes Active Understeer Control and Moving Object Detection, providing an extra layer of security that is typically reserved for higher-tier luxury vehicles.

The bottom line

This Exeed LX is the ideal choice for a young professional or small family seeking a tech-forward, fuel-efficient SUV that looks and feels premium without the luxury price tag.
