Summary

This 2024 Ford Mustang PREMIUM offers a compelling blend of modern performance and daily usability that resonates perfectly with the GCC lifestyle. With its balanced turbocharged powertrain, it provides the iconic silhouette and presence of an American legend while maintaining fuel efficiency that makes it a practical choice for the long-distance commutes common between Dubai and Abu Dhabi. The black exterior is a highly sought-after choice in the regional market, ensuring it maintains a strong presence and excellent resale appeal. As a PREMIUM trim, it elevates the experience far beyond the base model, offering the kind of interior refinements and technological integrations that local buyers prioritize for comfort during the intense summer months. This specific vehicle stands out in the pre-owned market due to its current-generation status and a mileage profile that suggests it has been driven primarily on well-maintained highways. For a buyer looking for a modern, tech-forward sports car that handles the heat and the highways with equal poise, this listing represents one of the most logical entries into the high-performance lifestyle.

This Car vs Other 2024 Mustangs

When comparing this vehicle to other 2024 Mustang models currently available in the GCC, the mileage of 25000 km is exactly where you want it to be for a one-year-old car in this region. Given that GCC drivers often cover 25,000 km annually due to the spread-out nature of our cities, this car has been used as intended but remains well within its prime operational window. The black paint is a strategic advantage here; in the UAE and wider Gulf markets, black and white vehicles consistently command higher demand and faster turnaround times during resale. While many available units might be base specifications, this vehicle carries the higher equipment level that ensures better insulation and more robust interior materials. It represents a 'goldilocks' opportunity where you get the latest S650 generation's styling and technology without the aggressive depreciation of a brand-new showroom delivery. Choosing a current-year model also ensures that you are benefiting from the most recent cooling system calibrations designed for modern global climates.

PREMIUM vs Lower Trims

Moving up to the PREMIUM trim is a transformative decision for any buyer in the Middle East. Unlike the standard EcoBoost, this trim introduces essential luxury features like heated and ventilated front seats, which are a non-negotiable comfort factor during the peak summer months in Riyadh or Kuwait City. The interior is significantly upgraded with leather-trimmed seating and soft-touch materials throughout the cabin, replacing the more utilitarian plastics found in lower tiers. You also benefit from the upgraded Bang & Olufsen sound system, providing a crisp audio experience that remains clear even at highway speeds. The inclusion of customizable ambient lighting allows drivers to set the mood for evening cruises along the Corniche, while the larger digital infotainment display offers better visibility and responsiveness. These upgrades are not just about personal enjoyment; they are the specific features that second-hand buyers look for, typically allowing PREMIUM trims to retain a higher percentage of their original value compared to base models.

Mustang vs Segment Rivals

In the GCC market, the Mustang primarily competes with the Chevrolet Camaro and the Toyota Supra. While the Camaro offers a similar American muscle feel, the Mustang leads the way with its more advanced interior architecture and a larger boot that makes it far more practical for weekend trips between Emirates. Compared to the Supra, the Mustang offers a much more generous 2+2 seating configuration, allowing for extra storage or short trips with more than two passengers, which is a major advantage for social or family-oriented buyers. The 2.3L engine in this Ford is specifically engineered to provide a broader torque curve than many European four-cylinder rivals, making it feel more responsive in the stop-and-go traffic of Downtown Dubai. Furthermore, Ford's widespread parts availability across the GCC gives it a significant edge in long-term maintenance convenience over more niche sports car competitors. It strikes a unique balance of heritage styling and modern efficiency that its rivals often struggle to match simultaneously.

Running Costs & Resale

Running a 2024 Ford Mustang with the 2.3L EcoBoost engine is surprisingly economical for the performance on offer. In real-world GCC conditions, you can expect highly competitive fuel consumption on the highway, where the 10-speed automatic transmission keeps RPMs low and efficiency high. Even in the dense traffic of Doha or Muscat, the engine’s start-stop technology helps manage petrol consumption effectively. As this is a Korean spec vehicle, buyers should note that while it shares most mechanical components with GCC models, it is important to verify service history and any remaining third-party warranty coverage. Ford has a robust service network across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Kuwait, ensuring that routine maintenance—typically required every 10,000 km—is easy to schedule. The Mustang historically enjoys some of the lowest depreciation rates in the sports coupe segment, often retaining up to 75-80% of its value over the first three years when maintained in excellent condition like this one.

Performance & Capability

The heart of this Mustang is its 324 hp turbocharged engine, which delivers a 0-100 km/h time of approximately 5 seconds. This level of performance is perfectly suited for the fast-paced highways of the GCC, providing ample power for overtaking and merging into high-speed traffic with confidence. The rear-wheel-drive layout provides the traditional sports car handling dynamics that enthusiasts crave, while the selectable drive modes allow you to soften the steering and throttle response for a more relaxed cruise. The 10-speed automatic transmission is a standout feature, offering lightning-fast shifts when you are driving spiritedly and smooth, imperceptible transitions during city commutes. Despite its sporty intentions, the car maintains a respectable ground clearance for a coupe, meaning it can navigate the speed bumps and entrance ramps of local malls without the stress associated with lower-slung supercars. It is a performance car that doesn't demand sacrifices in daily driveability.

Comfort & Cabin

Inside the cabin, the 2024 Mustang PREMIUM is a masterclass in modern driver-centric design. The 4-seat layout provides enough space for adults in the front and serves as a perfect area for children or additional luggage in the rear. The air conditioning system is exceptionally powerful, a hallmark of American engineering that is vital for the Gulf climate, capable of chilling the cabin in minutes even after the car has been parked in the sun. The premium materials used in this trim level offer a tactile sense of quality, from the leather steering wheel to the refined upholstery. Technology is at the forefront, with a massive curved digital display that integrates both the instrument cluster and the central infotainment system, providing all the data a driver needs at a glance. Sound insulation has been significantly improved in this generation, making long-distance cross-border drives across the GCC much more fatigue-free than in previous iterations.

Safety

Safety is a primary focus for the latest Mustang, which comes equipped with the Ford Co-Pilot360 suite of driver-assist technologies. This includes Pre-Collision Assist with Automatic Emergency Braking, which is invaluable in the unpredictable traffic environments of major GCC cities. Blind-spot monitoring with cross-traffic alert is standard on this trim, providing an extra layer of security when navigating the multi-lane highways of the UAE. Lane-keeping systems and adaptive cruise control make those long, straight desert stretches much safer and less taxing for the driver. The car is built on a high-strength steel chassis designed to provide maximum protection in the event of an impact, earning it high marks in international safety testing. For the security-conscious buyer, this Mustang offers peace of mind through a combination of traditional structural integrity and the latest in sensor-based accident prevention.

The bottom line

This 2024 Mustang PREMIUM is the perfect match for the modern professional who wants an iconic sports car that doesn't compromise on summer comfort or daily fuel costs. Given its high-tier specification and the fact that it is a current-year model, it represents a savvy investment for someone looking to enjoy the best of American performance in the heart of the GCC.
