Summary

This 2024 Ford Territory Trend offers a nearly-new SUV experience with mileage that sits well below the typical GCC annual average, making it a highly competitive choice in the pre-owned market. The crisp White exterior is one of the most sought-after colors for resale in the region, providing excellent heat reflection and long-term value retention. As a modern crossover designed for regional versatility, it provides a refined balance of turbocharged efficiency and class-leading cabin space. For buyers looking for a dependable family vehicle that handles both city commutes and long Emirates-wide highway hauls, this GCC-spec model provides the ideal blend of American brand heritage and contemporary tech.

This Car vs Other 2024 Ford Territorys

With just over 49,000 km, this vehicle has been driven less than the 25,000 km per year typically seen on GCC highways. This lower-than-average usage means significantly less wear on the suspension and interior compared to many other 2024 models. The popular White finish further enhances its appeal, as it remains the top-performing color for resale value across the UAE and Saudi markets.

TREND vs Lower Trims

The Trend trim represents a significant step up from the base Ambiente, most notably adding essential GCC driver-assist technologies like Adaptive Cruise Control and Blind Spot Monitoring. Interior comfort is elevated with dual-zone automatic temperature control and a larger 12.3-inch touchscreen interface that isn't standard on entry-level models. It also features premium vinyl seating and an auto-dimming rearview mirror, providing a much more executive feel for the daily commute.

Territory vs Segment Rivals

When compared to rivals like the Toyota RAV4 or Hyundai Tucson, the Territory leads with superior second-row legroom and a wider cabin footprint that easily accommodates three adults in the back. Its 1.8L EcoBoost engine delivers 320 Nm of torque, which is higher than many naturally aspirated competitors, making highway overtaking more effortless. Furthermore, the 60-liter fuel tank provides a generous cruising range for long desert drives between cities.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel economy averages around 8.0 L/100km, which is efficient for a mid-sized SUV in GCC stop-start traffic. Maintenance is straightforward with a massive authorized service network via Al Tayer and Premiere Motors, with standard service intervals every 10,000 km or 6 months. As one of Ford's newest and most popular nameplates in the region, the Territory has shown strong value retention, typically depreciating slower than older legacy American sedan models.

Performance & Capability

The 1.8L EcoBoost engine produces a healthy 190 horsepower, allowing this SUV to reach 100 km/h in approximately 8.5 seconds. The 7-speed automatic transmission is tuned for smooth shifts, providing a relaxed cruising experience on the E11 or E311 highways. While it is a front-wheel-drive crossover optimized for road comfort, it features selectable drive modes including a Mountain mode to optimize traction on gravel or loose surfaces during weekend getaways.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is designed for five occupants with a flat rear floor that maximizes center-passenger comfort. The air conditioning system is specifically engineered for the high-temperature GCC climate, featuring dedicated rear vents to ensure all passengers stay cool during peak summer. Storage is a high priority, with 448 liters of boot space that expands to 1,422 liters with the seats folded, providing ample room for airport runs or large grocery hauls.

Safety

This Trend trim comes equipped with a comprehensive safety suite including six airbags and an Individual Tire Pressure Monitoring System, which is vital for safe driving in high heat. The inclusion of Adaptive Cruise Control and Rear Sensing systems provides an extra layer of protection during fast-moving highway traffic. Ford has also integrated electronic stability control and traction management to ensure a planted feel on various road textures across the Emirates.

The bottom line

For the GCC family seeking a tech-forward SUV with lower-than-average mileage and a high-resale color, this GCC-spec Territory Trend is a standout opportunity that balances modern features with long-term reliability.
