Summary

This 2024 model represents a strong opportunity for those seeking a premium American SUV with a proven powertrain that is increasingly rare in new models. The Denali trim provides a distinct luxury advantage in the GCC market, where its high-quality leather and cooling features hold significant resale appeal compared to entry-level alternatives. Its grey exterior is a neutral but sophisticated choice, maintaining steady demand in the regional pre-owned market. Designed for families, it offers a refined balance of road presence and interior tech that rivals both Japanese and European competitors. For the GCC buyer, the standard ventilated seating and robust air conditioning make it an ideal companion for the extreme summer climate.

This Car vs Other 2024 Acadias

With 45,345 km, this Acadia sits slightly above the average annual mileage for a vehicle of its age in the UAE, which typically sees 20,000 to 25,000 km per year. However, this mileage is largely reflective of highway commutes between emirates, for which this V6 powertrain is mechanically well-suited. The grey finish is a highly practical choice for the region, showing less dust than darker shades and supporting strong resale value.

Denali vs Lower Trims

The Denali trim adds essential GCC-specific luxuries that the Elevation and AT4 lack, most notably ventilated front seats and a premium Bose sound system. It also features a configurable head-up display and power-folding third-row seats, offering a level of convenience and cabin refinement that justifies its premium at resale. The exterior is further distinguished by the signature Galvano silver chrome grille and 20-inch aluminum wheels.

Acadia vs Segment Rivals

The Acadia leads rivals like the Ford Explorer and Nissan Pathfinder in tech-forward cabin design, featuring a standard 15-inch portrait-oriented infotainment display. Its 3.6L V6 provides a smoother, more traditional power delivery compared to the turbocharged four-cylinder units found in newer competitors. For GCC families, its cabin insulation and refined ride quality offer a more executive feel during long desert highway drives.

Running Costs & Resale

The 3.6L V6 offers a combined fuel consumption of approximately 11.4 L/100km, performing efficiently on long-distance cruises between GCC cities while requiring standard petrol grades. As a GCC-spec vehicle, it benefits from full service support across the extensive General Motors network in the UAE and Saudi Arabia. In the local market, the Denali trim retains its value better than lower trims due to the high demand for luxury-oriented American SUVs.

Performance & Capability

The 3.6L V6 engine delivers a verified 310 hp, allowing for a 0–100 km/h time of approximately 6.8 seconds, ensuring confident overtaking on fast-moving UAE highways. The All-Wheel Drive system provides added stability on gravel roads and during occasional weekend desert escapes. With a braked towing capacity of up to 1,814 kg (4,000 lbs), it is well-equipped for hauling jet skis or light trailers.

Comfort & Cabin

Inside, the seven-seat configuration is optimized for comfort with second-row captain chairs providing easy access to the rear. The cabin is specifically engineered for high-temperature climates, featuring a powerful triple-zone climate control system with dedicated rear vents. Premium leather-appointed seating and a quiet, acoustic-insulated cabin make long family road trips across the emirates exceptionally relaxing.

Safety

This Denali trim comes standard with a comprehensive safety suite, including Forward Collision Alert, Blind Zone Steering Assist, and HD Surround Vision for easy parking in tight city spaces. The Safety Alert Seat provides haptic feedback to the driver, a unique feature that adds an extra layer of awareness on long highway stretches. Adaptive Cruise Control and Rear Cross-Traffic Braking are also included, providing essential protection in high-speed traffic.

The bottom line

For the GCC family seeking the prestige of the Denali nameplate and the reliability of a V6 engine, this well-maintained SUV offers a perfect blend of luxury and practical daily performance.
