Summary

This 2024 Haval H6 is a standout choice for those seeking current-generation technology without the new-car price tag. While the mileage reflects active use, its GCC-specific cooling and high-strength steel construction make it perfectly suited for the region's demanding climate. The Medium trim offers a premium tech suite, including a digital cockpit and advanced cameras, that typically costs much more in Japanese rivals. In the local market, white remains the strongest resale color, ensuring you maintain value when it's time to upgrade. For a modern family SUV that balances highway comfort with smart safety, this H6 is one of the most logical buys in its segment.

This Car vs Other 2024 Haval H6s

With 68,907 km, this H6 has been driven slightly above the GCC annual average, yet it remains a highly attractive current-year model. Its white exterior is the most sought-after color for heat reflection and resale liquidity in the UAE and Saudi markets. Buying a 2024 model now allows you to benefit from a modern platform while the initial steep depreciation is already behind you.

MEDIUM vs Lower Trims

The Medium trim is a significant jump from the Basic variant, introducing features vital for GCC comfort like ventilated front seats to combat the summer heat. It also upgrades the safety suite with a 360-degree panoramic camera and a larger infotainment display, offering a more premium tech experience than the entry-level models. These specific additions are highly valued by used car buyers in the region, supporting better value retention.

Haval H6 vs Segment Rivals

The H6 often leads rivals like the Toyota RAV4 and Hyundai Tucson in standard technology, offering a digital head-up display and a comprehensive ADAS suite at a lower price point. Its 2.0L turbocharged engine provides more low-end torque for highway overtaking compared to the naturally aspirated base engines found in many competitors. The interior materials and acoustic glass also offer a level of refinement that challenges established mid-size SUV benchmarks.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption for the 2.0T FWD model typically averages around 9.4L/100km, performing efficiently on long highway drives between Emirates. Haval is supported by an extensive authorized network including Al Naboodah in the UAE, ensuring parts and expert service are readily available across the GCC. While Chinese brands are still establishing long-term curves, the H6 is their most popular model, maintaining a healthy 70% value retention over its first three years.

Performance & Capability

The 2.0L turbocharged engine delivers a punchy 201 hp, paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission that provides smooth shifts during highway cruising. Designed as a road-focused crossover, it handles city traffic and high-speed multi-lane roads with passenger-car agility rather than truck-like heaviness. With multiple driving modes, including Sport and Eco, you can tailor the power delivery to suit everything from stop-start Dubai traffic to open desert highways.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is built for the Gulf climate, featuring a powerful air conditioning system with rear vents to ensure all five passengers stay cool. Front occupants benefit from ventilated seats, a feature usually reserved for luxury brands, which makes a massive difference during peak summer months. The panoramic sunroof adds a sense of space, while the digital cockpit and 14.6-inch screen keep the interior feeling modern and connected.

Safety

This H6 is equipped with a full suite of active safety tech, including Adaptive Cruise Control and Lane Keep Assist, which are invaluable for reducing fatigue on long desert drives. The 360-degree camera system makes parking in tight urban spaces simple, while the six airbags and high-strength steel body provide peace of mind. These intelligent systems work together to provide a 5-star safety experience that rivals the most established brands in the segment.

The bottom line

This 2024 Haval H6 is the perfect match for a tech-savvy family or professional looking for a modern, feature-rich SUV that is already optimized for GCC conditions. It represents a smart opportunity to own a current-generation vehicle with premium cooling and safety tech at a significant value.
