Summary

This 2024 Infiniti QX55 SENSORY is a standout opportunity for GCC buyers seeking a blend of avant-garde design and premium luxury with exceptionally low mileage. In the context of the Middle East market, finding a current-year model with under 20,000 km is a significant advantage, as it effectively offers a like-new driving experience while having already navigated the steepest part of the initial depreciation curve. The black-on-black aesthetic is a perennial favorite in the UAE and wider GCC, ensuring strong resale demand and a timelessly sophisticated appearance. As the top-tier SENSORY trim, this vehicle is equipped with high-end features that are essential for the local climate, including a superior cooling system and ventilated seating. Compared to its German rivals, the QX55 offers a more daring coupe-SUV silhouette without sacrificing the reliability and service support Infiniti is known for in the region. For the discerning owner, this vehicle represents a perfect balance of executive presence and daily practicality, backed by the peace of mind that comes with a GCC-spec vehicle designed specifically for our unique environmental demands.

This Car vs Other 2024 QX55s

When comparing this specific 2024 Infiniti QX55 to others currently available in the GCC used market, the primary differentiator is its remarkably low mileage. Given that the average annual mileage for a premium SUV in the UAE and Saudi Arabia typically ranges between 20,000 and 25,000 km, this vehicle has covered significantly less ground than the regional norm. This lower usage translates directly to less wear on the mechanical components and a cabin that maintains its factory-fresh tactile quality. The choice of a black exterior is another strategic advantage; in the GCC, black is considered one of the top three colors for value retention, ensuring that this car will remain highly desirable when the time comes to upgrade. Furthermore, being a 2024 model, it benefits from the latest software refinements and interior material upgrades that Infiniti has introduced, making it a superior choice over older or high-mileage examples.

SENSORY vs Lower Trims

Choosing the SENSORY trim elevates the QX55 from a premium crossover to a genuine luxury experience, adding several features that are highly coveted by GCC drivers. While lower trims provide the basics, the SENSORY grade introduces the 16-speaker Bose Performance Series audio system, which is engineered to deliver crisp sound even over the drone of highway wind at 120 km/h. It also includes the advanced Tri-Zone Automatic Temperature Control system, a critical upgrade for our extreme summers, allowing the driver, front passenger, and rear occupants to maintain their own micro-climates. The addition of ventilated front seats and a power-sliding tinted glass moonroof with a sunshade further enhances comfort during the hotter months. Furthermore, the SENSORY trim features unique interior wood accents and semi-aniline leather-appointed seating, providing a level of craftsmanship and tactile luxury that is noticeably absent in the base ESSENTIAL or LUXE configurations.

QX55 vs Segment Rivals

The Infiniti QX55 competes in the fiercely contested luxury coupe-SUV segment against rivals like the BMW X4 and Mercedes-Benz GLC Coupe. Where the QX55 leads is in its unique combination of striking Japanese design philosophy and standard feature density; features that are often expensive options on European rivals are included as standard here. The QX55 also offers a more generous fuel tank capacity than several competitors, which is a major benefit for those frequently driving between Emirates or across GCC borders. Its cabin is designed with a focus on ergonomics and ease of use, featuring a dual-screen infotainment system that allows for simultaneous navigation and media control. While rivals focus heavily on stiff sportiness, the Infiniti prioritizes a balanced ride quality that excels on the well-maintained but often high-speed highways of the UAE. For the buyer who wants to stand out from the crowd of German crossovers, the QX55 provides a fresh, athletic aesthetic that remains rare enough to turn heads.

Running Costs & Resale

Ownership of this GCC-spec Infiniti QX55 is characterized by predictable maintenance and respectable efficiency. The 2.0L Variable Compression Turbo engine is designed to optimize fuel consumption based on driving conditions, delivering efficient performance during steady highway cruises across the desert while providing power when needed for city overtaking. In GCC stop-start traffic, the engine manages heat and fuel delivery effectively, particularly when using the recommended high-grade petrol available at local stations. Infiniti maintains an extensive authorized service network across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Kuwait, ensuring that parts are readily available and expert technicians are never far away. Historically, the QX55 in SENSORY trim holds its value well in the local market, benefiting from Infiniti's reputation for mechanical durability. Buyers can expect an annual depreciation rate that is competitive with its peers, with the added benefit of the GCC-spec status which ensures the car is eligible for local service contracts and maintains higher trust among future buyers.

Performance & Capability

The heart of the QX55 is its innovative 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine, which utilizes variable compression technology to bridge the gap between high-performance power and fuel-saving efficiency. This powertrain is perfectly suited for the GCC's driving landscape, offering effortless acceleration for highway merging and a smooth, quiet cruise at sustained speeds. The automatic transmission is tuned for seamless shifts, ensuring that the driving experience remains refined whether you are navigating the dense traffic of Downtown Dubai or the open roads towards Al Ain. With a 0-100 km/h time that is competitive for its class, the QX55 feels responsive and agile. The front-wheel-drive configuration is ideal for urban and highway use, offering predictable handling and contributing to better fuel economy compared to heavier all-wheel-drive systems. For the weekend road trip, the QX55 provides ample ground clearance to handle uneven gravel paths or sandy patches near coastal areas, though its primary domain remains the asphalt where its suspension tuning shines.

Comfort & Cabin

The interior of the QX55 SENSORY is a masterclass in driver-centric luxury, tailored to provide a sanctuary from the intense GCC heat. The cabin features a 4-seat configuration that prioritizes individual space and comfort, wrapped in premium materials that stay cool even when the sun is at its peak. The air conditioning system is particularly robust, a hallmark of Infiniti engineering, designed to pull down cabin temperatures rapidly after the car has been parked outside. Acoustic glass and extensive sound dampening ensure that the interior remains a quiet environment, shielded from road and wind noise during long-distance travels. The Bose 16-speaker system provides an immersive auditory experience, while the intuitive layout of the dual-screen interface ensures that all controls are within easy reach. Rear passengers are not forgotten, with dedicated cooling vents and sufficient legroom to ensure that even long journeys across the region are undertaken in absolute comfort.

Safety

Safety in the 2024 QX55 SENSORY is comprehensive, featuring a suite of ProPILOT Assist technologies that are invaluable on the fast-moving highways of the Middle East. Standard features include Blind Spot Warning and Intervention, which provide an extra layer of security when navigating multi-lane traffic, and Forward Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection for urban environments. The Predictive Forward Collision Warning system is a standout, as it can monitor the speed and distance of the vehicle two cars ahead, giving you crucial extra reaction time. For long desert drives, the Intelligent Cruise Control and Lane Departure Prevention work together to reduce driver fatigue and keep the vehicle centered. The QX55 also carries a 5-star safety rating, supported by a reinforced body structure and a comprehensive airbag system, ensuring that all occupants are protected by some of the most advanced safety engineering available in the crossover segment today.

The bottom line

This 2024 Infiniti QX55 SENSORY is the ideal choice for a professional or small family who values cutting-edge design and premium features without the high maintenance overhead of European competitors. With its low mileage and top-tier GCC specification, this listing represents a rare opportunity to own a nearly-new luxury crossover that is perfectly adapted to the local environment.
