Summary

This 2024 Infiniti QX55 ESSENTIAL represents a remarkable opportunity to own a nearly-new luxury crossover that perfectly balances Japanese reliability with avant-garde styling. With significantly lower mileage than typical for its age in the GCC, this vehicle offers the freshness of a showroom model with the immediate availability savvy buyers seek. The striking blue exterior is a sophisticated choice that holds its appeal well in the premium segment, ensuring it stands out in a sea of monochrome SUVs. As the crossover coupe derivative of the QX50, this model provides a more athletic silhouette that is highly sought after by modern UAE professionals. Buyers will find this specific listing particularly attractive due to its GCC specification, which ensures the cooling systems and electronics are purpose-built for our extreme summer temperatures. The combination of a variable compression turbo engine and high-tech safety features makes this a standout choice for those who value innovation and long-term value retention.

This Car vs Other 2024 QX55s

When comparing this specific vehicle to other 2024 models on the market, the primary advantage is the exceptionally low mileage of just under 11,000 km. In the GCC, where the annual average driving distance often reaches 25,000 km due to frequent commutes between emirates, this car has effectively only seen a few months of typical use. The exterior remains in pristine condition, and the blue paintwork is a refreshing, premium alternative to more common fleet colors, which often helps maintain a better emotional connection with secondary buyers. Mechanically, the car is still in its peak performance window, having barely completed its initial break-in period. Choosing this low-mileage example over others ensures that the interior materials, particularly the leather touchpoints, remain in 'like-new' condition without the wear patterns often seen in higher-use vehicles. It represents the top tier of available pre-owned stock currently in the region.

ESSENTIAL vs Lower Trims

Stepping up to the ESSENTIAL trim provides a transformative experience compared to the base LUXE model, focusing heavily on technology that GCC drivers use daily. This trim introduces the Bose Performance Series 16-speaker audio system, which provides crystal clear sound quality even at high speeds on the E11. You also gain the Around View Monitor with Moving Object Detection, a critical feature for navigating tight parking spots in Dubai's busy malls. The inclusion of ventilated front seats is a game-changer for the local climate, providing immediate relief during the humid summer months where standard leather can become uncomfortably hot. Additionally, the ESSENTIAL trim upgrades the lighting system to Cube-design LED headlights with an Adaptive Front Lighting System, significantly improving visibility during nighttime desert highway drives. These high-value features are exactly what secondary buyers look for, making this trim much easier to resell later compared to entry-level versions.

QX55 vs Segment Rivals

The Infiniti QX55 competes in the highly contested luxury crossover coupe segment, primarily facing off against the BMW X4 and the Mercedes-Benz GLC Coupe. While its German rivals often prioritize firm sportiness, the QX55 offers a more balanced ride quality that excels on the long, flat highways of the UAE and Saudi Arabia. It leads its segment in standard features for the price point, offering advanced driver assistance systems that often cost significantly more as options on European competitors. The Infiniti's unique variable compression turbo engine provides a blend of power and efficiency that rivals struggle to match without moving to more expensive hybrid powertrains. Furthermore, the QX55 features a more generous cargo opening and practical interior layout compared to the X4, making it a more viable option for small families who still want a stylish profile. Its Japanese heritage also means a more straightforward ownership experience regarding long-term electronics and component durability.

Running Costs & Resale

Running a QX55 in the GCC is surprisingly economical thanks to its 2.0L VC-Turbo engine, which adjusts its compression ratio to optimize fuel economy during steady highway cruising between cities like Abu Dhabi and Al Ain. Real-world consumption is competitive, and the car runs efficiently on Super 98 or Special 95 fuel, which are readily available at every station across the region. Service intervals are typically every 10,000 km or 6 months, and Infiniti's authorized service network is robust, with major centers in every emirate and across the wider GCC, ensuring parts are always in stock. Historically, Infiniti models hold their value better than many European luxury brands in the local market, typically seeing a depreciation of only 10-12% annually compared to 15% or more for German rivals. This car's GCC spec status is a vital shield for its resale value, as it remains eligible for local service contracts and manufacturer-backed support. At the three-year mark, a well-maintained QX55 ESSENTIAL remains one of the most liquid assets in the premium crossover segment.

Performance & Capability

The heart of this vehicle is the world’s first production variable compression turbocharged engine, delivering 268 horsepower and 380 Nm of torque. This technology allows the car to feel punchy during highway overtaking while remaining civil and quiet during city traffic in Riyadh or Dubai. The 0-100 km/h sprint is achieved in approximately 6.6 seconds, providing more than enough agility for modern urban environments. While this model utilizes a front-wheel-drive configuration, it is tuned for stability and comfort, making it an excellent long-distance cruiser for cross-border trips. The ground clearance is sufficient for navigating sand-blown roads or gravel tracks leading to weekend farm retreats without the bulk of a full-sized SUV. The transmission is tuned to keep the engine in its optimal power band, ensuring that throttle response is immediate whether you are merging onto a fast-moving highway or accelerating away from a stoplight.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin of the QX55 ESSENTIAL is designed as a sanctuary from the harsh outdoor environment of the Middle East, featuring dual-zone automatic climate control that is famously powerful and effective at cooling the interior in minutes. The four-seat configuration (with a functional fifth middle spot) emphasizes passenger comfort, providing ample legroom and premium leather appointments that feel soft yet durable. Acoustic glass and active noise cancellation technology work together to keep the cabin whisper-quiet, shielding occupants from wind noise during high-speed travel. The dual-screen infotainment system allows you to manage navigation and media simultaneously without cluttering the interface. For the driver, the memory seat system and power-adjustable steering column ensure the perfect position is just a button press away, which is ideal for households with multiple drivers. The sliding and reclining rear seats allow you to prioritize either passenger comfort or extra boot space for large shopping trips or weekend luggage.

Safety

Safety in the QX55 ESSENTIAL is comprehensive, featuring Infiniti’s ProPILOT Assist suite which is a major asset on long, monotonous highway drives. This system includes Intelligent Cruise Control and Steering Assist, helping to keep the vehicle centered in its lane and maintaining a safe distance from traffic ahead. Blind Spot Intervention and Lane Departure Prevention are particularly useful in the GCC, where multi-lane highways and fast-moving traffic require constant vigilance. The vehicle also features Forward Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection and Predictive Forward Collision Warning, which can actually monitor the speed and distance of the vehicle two cars ahead to give you earlier warning of potential hazards. With eight standard airbags and a reinforced high-strength steel frame, the QX55 provides a secure environment for all occupants. These active systems are standard on the ESSENTIAL trim, whereas they are often costly add-ons in many rival crossovers, providing peace of mind as a standard feature.

The bottom line

This GCC-spec 2024 Infiniti QX55 ESSENTIAL is the perfect choice for a buyer who wants the aesthetic of a high-end coupe with the reliability and cooling performance of a Japanese SUV. With extremely low mileage and a high-spec interior, it represents the best value-for-money in the luxury crossover market today.
