Summary

This 2024 Jetour Dashing Luxury is a compelling find in the GCC market, offering a high-tech crossover experience with mileage that sits comfortably at the regional average for a one-year-old vehicle. Finished in black, which remains one of the strongest resale colors in the UAE and Saudi Arabia, this SUV stands out with its sharp, coupe-like silhouette that rivals more expensive European alternatives. The Luxury trim is a significant step up, providing essential regional comforts like ventilated seating that are a must-have for GCC summers. For buyers looking for a modern family vehicle that balances advanced safety tech with striking aesthetics, this listing represents a sharp opportunity to secure a near-new car at a meaningful used-market discount.

This Car vs Other 2024 Dashing s

With 44,000 km, this Dashing matches the typical driving patterns of GCC highway commuters, who often cover 25,000 km annually. Its black exterior is a high-demand color in the local market, ensuring better value retention compared to niche shades. Choosing a 2024 model in this condition allows you to bypass the steepest initial depreciation while still benefiting from modern Kunlun architecture.

LUXURY vs Lower Trims

The Luxury trim adds premium features that define the GCC ownership experience, most notably the ventilated front seats and the upgraded 15.6-inch infotainment screen. Unlike lower trims, you also get the full 360° panoramic camera system and a suite of active safety monitors like Blind Spot Detection. These additions are highly sought after by local used car buyers, making this trim much easier to sell later.

Dashing vs Segment Rivals

The Dashing leads competitors like the Haval H6 and MG HS in interior technology, offering a more minimalist, Tesla-inspired cockpit with a larger standard display. Its 1.6L turbocharged engine provides 194 hp, giving it a power advantage over base-level Japanese rivals in the same price bracket. Additionally, the unique 'Checkered LED' lighting signature offers a more premium road presence during evening drives.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption averages approximately 9.7 L/100km in mixed GCC driving, though steady highway cruising can see this improve toward 7.9 L/100km. Authorized service centers are well-established across major UAE cities and Saudi Arabia, with standard service intervals typically every 10,000 km. While Chinese brands face steeper early depreciation than Japanese stalwarts, the Dashing's high tech-to-price ratio helps it maintain a steady value floor in the regional used market.

Performance & Capability

The 194 hp output is delivered through a 7-speed Dual-Clutch Transmission, providing smooth power delivery for highway overtaking and city merging. While front-wheel drive, it features selectable Eco and Sport modes to sharpen throttle response for more dynamic drives across the Emirates. The multi-link independent suspension is tuned for road comfort, handling the high-speed highway stretches between Dubai and Abu Dhabi with refined stability.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is centered around a massive 15.6-inch tablet-style screen that controls most vehicle functions, creating a clean, modern aesthetic. GCC-specific comfort is handled by a dual-zone climate control system with rear air vents and essential seat ventilation to combat the heat. The 2,720mm wheelbase ensures genuinely usable legroom for five adults, while the panoramic sunroof adds an airy feel to the darkened interior.

Safety

This Luxury trim is equipped with a comprehensive ADAS suite including Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Departure Warning, and Blind Spot Monitoring, which are invaluable for fast-moving UAE highway traffic. Passive safety is robust with 6 airbags and a 360° camera that simplifies parking in tight urban spaces. The inclusion of Rear Cross Traffic Alert and emergency braking assists provides an extra layer of protection that often costs more in rival models.

The bottom line

This Jetour Dashing Luxury is the ideal choice for a tech-focused buyer who wants a premium SUV look and ventilated-seat comfort without the high-mileage risks of older luxury brands.
