Summary

This 2024 Jetour X90 Plus Luxury represents a compelling value in the seven-seat SUV segment, offering a feature-rich experience that rivals premium European counterparts. As a two-year-old vehicle, it has already cleared the steepest part of its depreciation curve, making it a smart financial move for a growing family. The white exterior is the most sought-after color in the GCC, ensuring easier resale and better heat reflection during the intense summer months. With its turbocharged engine and spacious three-row layout, it is perfectly suited for long-distance highway cruises between Abu Dhabi and Dubai. This listing provides a flagship-level interior at a significantly more accessible price point than its Japanese or American segment rivals.

This Car vs Other 2024 X90 Pluses

With 102,231 km on the odometer, this vehicle's mileage is higher than the typical GCC average for a two-year-old car, which usually sits around 40,000 to 50,000 km. However, in the regional context, this often indicates consistent long-distance highway use—the gentlest form of wear on a modern turbocharged engine. The high-demand white paint remains a significant advantage, as it is the most resilient color for maintaining resale value in the local market.

LUXURY vs Lower Trims

The Luxury trim significantly upgrades the ownership experience over the Comfort variant by adding essential GCC features like ventilated front seats and a power-operated tailgate. You also get a larger 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster paired with a matching infotainment screen, creating a seamless digital cockpit. Safety is enhanced in this trim with the addition of a 360-degree camera system and expanded ADAS features that are often optional on lower specifications.

X90 Plus vs Segment Rivals

The X90 Plus leads competitors like the Toyota Rush and Mitsubishi Xpander by offering a more powerful 200hp turbocharged engine and a much more premium cabin finished in soft-touch materials. While rivals focus on basic utility, the Jetour provides a larger wheelbase of 2,850 mm, ensuring genuine legroom in the second and third rows. Its 57-liter fuel tank is well-sized for the long-distance desert drives that define the GCC lifestyle.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption for the 1.5T engine averages around 8.3L/100km on the highway, though GCC city traffic can see this rise to roughly 11L/100km. Jetour has rapidly expanded its service footprint, now boasting the world’s largest service center in Dubai and extensive networks through United Motors in Saudi Arabia. While Chinese brands typically depreciate faster than Japanese icons, the X90 Plus holds its value well among budget-conscious families due to its strong feature-to-price ratio.

Performance & Capability

The 200hp turbocharged engine provides confident overtaking power on fast-moving highways like the E11, where low-end torque is essential for merging. The four-wheel-drive system offers added stability during sudden rain showers or when traversing gravel paths to weekend campsites. Despite its size, the multi-link independent suspension ensures the ride remains composed and comfortable for all seven passengers, even at higher cruising speeds.

Comfort & Cabin

The seven-seat cabin is designed specifically for family comfort in the heat, featuring a high-output air conditioning system with dedicated vents for the rear rows. The Luxury trim’s ventilated seats are a game-changer for summer driving in the UAE and Saudi Arabia, preventing discomfort during long afternoon commutes. A massive panoramic sunroof opens up the cabin, while acoustic glass helps insulate the interior from highway wind noise.

Safety

This Luxury trim is equipped with a comprehensive safety suite including Front Collision Warning, Blind Spot Monitoring, and Lane Departure Warning, all of which are vital for navigating heavy GCC highway traffic. The 360-degree panoramic camera makes parking this large SUV effortless in tight urban malls. Standard safety equipment also includes multiple airbags, ISOFIX child seat anchors, and Electronic Stability Control to maintain traction on sandy road surfaces.

The bottom line

Perfect for a large family looking for a modern, tech-heavy SUV that handles the GCC climate with ease, this 2024 X90 Plus offers flagship luxury at a fraction of the new-car price.
