Summary

This 2024 Mercedes-AMG S63 E Performance represents the current peak of the S-Class lineage, offering a unique opportunity for GCC buyers to own a near-new flagship with just 1,158 km. Its Purple exterior provides a rare, high-value alternative to the standard market palette while maintaining the prestigious curb appeal required in Dubai or Riyadh. As a two-year-old vehicle with delivery-level mileage, it offers a significant advantage over high-use executive sedans typically found in the region. The E Performance trim introduces Formula 1-derived hybrid technology that rivals cannot match for sheer technical depth. For the GCC owner, this is the ultimate dual-character vehicle: a silent, refined cruiser for city traffic and a 791 hp powerhouse for cross-country highway travel.

This Car vs Other 2024 S63 AMGs

With only 1,158 km on the odometer, this vehicle sits well below the typical 20,000–25,000 km annual average for the GCC, effectively presenting as a showroom-fresh example. The European regional spec is paired with a striking Purple finish, a color that commands a premium in the luxury enthusiast market where exclusivity drives resale value. In a market saturated with white and black sedans, this low-mileage example stands out as a collector-grade opportunity.

E PERFORMANCE vs Lower Trims

The E Performance trim elevates the S-Class far beyond the S 580 or S 500 by integrating a rear-axle electric motor and a 13.1 kWh battery for a total output of 1,430 Nm of torque. It features the AMG-specific Panamericana grille—the first for an S-Class sedan—alongside standard 21-inch forged wheels and AMG Ride Control+ air suspension with active roll stabilization. Inside, it adds the Burmester 4D Surround Sound system and AMG-specific Nappa leather upholstery as standard, features that are often costly options on lower variants.

S63 AMG vs Segment Rivals

The S63 E Performance leads the BMW M760e and Bentley Flying Spur V8 in raw power, utilizing F1-derived hybrid cooling to maintain performance even in high ambient temperatures. While the BMW focuses on a larger electric range, the Mercedes-AMG delivers superior acceleration and a more aggressive road presence suited for the UAE's high-speed highway network. Its cabin technology, centered around the 12.8-inch OLED touchscreen, remains the benchmark for digital integration in the executive segment.

Running Costs & Resale

While real-world fuel consumption for this performance hybrid averages around 12.2 L/100km in combined GCC driving, the 76-liter tank ensures a substantial highway range when the V8 is engaged. Mercedes-Benz maintains a robust authorized service network across all major GCC cities including Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Riyadh, ensuring specialized hybrid components are well-supported. As the flagship AMG sedan, it follows a more stable depreciation curve than standard luxury models, particularly when maintained at such low mileage.

Performance & Capability

Generating a staggering 791 hp and 1,055 lb-ft of torque, this sedan achieves 0–100 km/h in just 3.3 seconds, a figure that places it in supercar territory. The fully variable 4MATIC+ all-wheel-drive system and rear-axle steering provide exceptional stability during high-speed lane changes on the E11 or when navigating tighter urban corners. Seven distinct drive modes, including a dedicated 'Electric' mode for silent neighborhood departures, allow you to tailor the car’s personality to every GCC driving scenario.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is a sanctuary designed for the GCC climate, featuring multi-contour AMG sport seats with heating, ventilation, and massage functions for all passengers. The 4-zone automatic climate control is exceptionally powerful, paired with heat-insulating, noise-insulating, and infrared-reflecting laminated glass to keep the interior cool during peak summer. Rear passengers enjoy an executive experience with dedicated MBUX entertainment screens and an ultra-quiet ride thanks to the acoustic glass and EV-only drive capability.

Safety

Equipped with the latest Mercedes-Benz driving assistance suite, this car features Distronic Plus adaptive cruise control and Active Steering Assist, ideal for long desert highway commutes. Standard safety tech includes a 360° camera with 3D visualization, Pre-Safe Impulse Side for side-impact protection, and a sophisticated Head-Up Display with augmented reality navigation. These systems provide a critical safety layer for the fast-paced and varied traffic conditions common across the Emirates.

The bottom line

This is the definitive choice for the GCC buyer who demands the luxury of a limousine with the soul of a supercar; a nearly-new, high-spec E Performance in a rare color that is ready for immediate delivery.
