Summary

This 2024 Mercedes-Benz V 250 Luxury offers an elite transport solution for families and executive fleets looking for modern tech in the GCC. Despite its Chinese regional specification, it features the refined M274 petrol engine preferred by many local buyers for its smooth power delivery on urban highways. The deep Black finish remains the most sought-after color for high-end MPVs in the UAE, ensuring strong market appeal at resale. As a 2024 model, it benefits from the latest MBUX widescreen cockpit, keeping it competitive against newer rivals. This van is perfectly suited for those who prioritize rear-passenger refinement and a prestigious presence for cross-emirate travel.

This Car vs Other 2024 V 250s

With 71,451 km on the odometer, this vehicle has been actively utilized, reflecting the typical high-mileage nature of executive transporters in the GCC. While higher than the average for its age, this usage often indicates consistent highway cruising between major cities like Dubai and Riyadh. The black exterior is the primary choice for VIP services and luxury family travel, significantly boosting its liquidity in the local used market.

LUXURY vs Lower Trims

The Luxury trim elevates the cabin experience far beyond the standard Avantgarde by adding high-grade leather upholstery and dedicated second-row captain chairs with enhanced adjustment. It also standardizes the 360° camera system, which is essential for maneuvering this large footprint in tight GCC parking structures. Additionally, you receive the updated MBUX widescreen infotainment suite, providing a more modern digital experience than the older single-screen layouts found in lower specs.

V 250 vs Segment Rivals

The V 250 stands apart from rivals like the Toyota Granvia and Lexus LM by offering a more car-like driving dynamic and a prestigious European badge. While the Lexus LM focuses on extreme rear-seat isolation, the Mercedes provides a more balanced configuration that allows for both professional chauffeur use and self-driving family trips. Its 2.0L turbocharged engine offers a quieter and more refined highway experience compared to the V6 units found in some American-market competitors.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption for the petrol V 250 typically averages around 9.0 to 11.0 L/100km in the GCC's mixed stop-start city traffic and high-speed highway runs. As a Chinese spec vehicle, buyers should note that authorized dealer support may differ from GCC-spec cars, though the extensive network of independent Mercedes specialists in the UAE ensures parts for the 2.0L powertrain are readily available. The V-Class maintains a steady depreciation rate of approximately 12–15% annually, holding its value better than most non-German luxury vans.

Performance & Capability

The 211 hp turbocharged engine provides a top speed of 200 km/h, ensuring it can comfortably keep pace with fast-moving traffic on the E11 or Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road. The rear-wheel-drive layout contributes to a surprisingly tight turning circle for its size, making it manageable in urban environments. While not designed for performance, the 350 Nm of torque allows for effortless overtaking even when fully loaded with six passengers and luggage.

Comfort & Cabin

The six-seat configuration is optimized for VIP comfort, featuring two individual captain chairs in the middle row that provide superior legroom and support. The multi-zone automatic climate control is specifically engineered to handle the extreme heat of the Arabian summer, with dedicated vents ensuring the rear cabin remains cool even in 45°C temperatures. Thick acoustic glass and high-quality interior materials isolate passengers from road noise during long desert highway drives.

Safety

Safety is managed by a comprehensive suite of systems including Active Brake Assist, Attention Assist, and Crosswind Assist, which is particularly useful for maintaining stability on exposed GCC desert roads. The standard 360° camera and blind-spot monitoring provide critical visibility during lane changes on busy multi-lane highways. Multiple airbags and a rigid passenger cell ensure high levels of protection for all six occupants.

The bottom line

This 2024 V 250 Luxury is an ideal choice for a buyer who wants the latest Mercedes-Benz tech and a VIP interior layout without the price tag of a GCC-spec equivalent.
