Summary

This 2024 Mitsubishi Attrage GLX is a standout opportunity for anyone seeking a modern commuter with exceptionally low ownership costs. With just 3,000 km on the odometer, this vehicle is essentially in showroom condition, offering a significant advantage over typical two-year-old listings in the region. The Grey exterior is one of the most practical choices for the GCC, as it effectively masks desert dust and maintains high resale appeal. As a GCC-spec model, it is fully optimized for the local climate, ensuring the air conditioning performs reliably even in peak summer heat. For buyers prioritizing efficiency and a hassle-free ownership experience across the UAE and beyond, this low-mileage sedan is a highly strategic purchase.

This Car vs Other 2024 Attrages

At only 3,000 km, this Attrage has covered significantly less distance than the average 20,000 km typically expected for a car of this age in the GCC. While many 2024 models on the market have already seen heavy daily use, this example retains its mechanical freshness and interior integrity. The Grey metallic finish is a top-tier choice for resale value in the Middle East, offering a professional look that holds its appeal better than niche colors.

GLX vs Lower Trims

The GLX trim provides essential upgrades over basic fleet variants, including keyless entry and power windows that enhance daily convenience. It features a more refined cabin finish with dedicated audio controls and a multi-information display that provides real-time trip data. These additions make the GLX a much more comfortable environment for private owners compared to the stripped-back base models often found in rental inventories.

Attrage vs Segment Rivals

The Mitsubishi Attrage leads its segment in pure fuel efficiency, outclassing rivals like the Nissan Sunny and Toyota Yaris when it comes to minimizing trips to the petrol station. Its tight 4.8-meter turning radius makes it significantly easier to maneuver through crowded Dubai or Riyadh parking lots than larger sub-compacts. While competitors may offer larger engines, the Attrage is purpose-built to provide the lowest possible running costs for urban GCC commuting.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption for the 1.2L engine is excellent, averaging roughly 20.8 km/L, which helps mitigate the costs of stop-start city traffic. Service intervals are typically every 10,000 km, and Mitsubishi's massive parts and service network ensures maintenance is affordable and accessible from Abu Dhabi to Muscat. In the GCC market, the Attrage is known for its slow depreciation rate, often retaining up to 70-80% of its value after three years, making it a safe financial bet.

Performance & Capability

With a fuel economy rating of 4.8 L/100km, the Attrage is one of the most efficient petrol cars on GCC roads today. The lightweight chassis and INVECS-III CVT are tuned for smooth, linear power delivery that excels in urban environments and maintains steady speeds on inter-emirate highways. While its 78 hp output is modest, the car's aerodynamic design allows it to slip through the wind with a low drag coefficient, enhancing stability during breezy desert drives.

Comfort & Cabin

The interior is designed for five passengers and features a high-performance air conditioning system specifically engineered to handle 45 degree GCC summers. High-tensile steel construction helps insulate the cabin from road noise, providing a surprisingly quiet ride for a compact sedan. Ample headroom and intuitive controls ensure that long commutes between cities remain comfortable for both the driver and passengers.

Safety

Safety is managed by Mitsubishi's Reinforced Impact Safety Evolution (RISE) body, which is designed to dissipate energy effectively in the event of a collision. Standard features include dual front airbags, an Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) with Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD), and Active Stability Control (ASC). The inclusion of a Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) is particularly valuable for GCC drivers to ensure safety during high-temperature highway runs.

The bottom line

Perfect for the budget-conscious professional or as a reliable second family car, this near-new Attrage offers the best mileage-to-age ratio currently available in the GCC used market.
