Summary

This 2024 Nissan Patrol LE Platinum City is effectively brand new with delivery mileage, offering a significant advantage for those looking for the final, most refined version of the legendary Y62 generation. The white exterior is the gold standard for resale value in the GCC, perfectly suited to reflect the intense summer heat while maintaining its appeal in the used market. As the flagship Platinum City trim, it offers the complete luxury experience that rivals high-end European SUVs while maintaining the rugged durability the Patrol is famous for across the Emirates. For a GCC buyer, this represents a rare chance to own a top-spec, low-mileage icon known for its powerful V8 and unrivaled reliability in desert conditions.

This Car vs Other 2024 Patrols

With just 480 km on the odometer, this Patrol is in pristine showroom condition, far below the average annual mileage of 20,000 km typically seen in the GCC. The white paint is not only practical for the local climate but remains the most sought-after color for resale, ensuring it holds its value better than darker alternatives. Choosing this low-mileage 2024 model allows you to secure the most proven version of the Y62 platform before the generation transition.

LE PLATINUM CITY vs Lower Trims

The LE Platinum City is the pinnacle of the lineup, adding essential GCC luxuries like ventilated and heated quilted leather seats and a 13-speaker Bose premium audio system that aren't standard on the Titanium or T2 grades. It also includes the 'City Bumper' for a more sophisticated road presence and the Intelligent Around View Monitor with a 360-degree camera, making it much easier to park this full-sized SUV in tight urban spaces.

Patrol vs Segment Rivals

Compared to the Toyota Land Cruiser 300, the Patrol offers a characterful, naturally aspirated 5.6L V8 that many GCC enthusiasts prefer for its linear power delivery and legendary sound. Its massive 140-litre fuel tank provides a superior range for long-distance desert trips or cross-border drives compared to most European luxury SUVs. Furthermore, the Patrol's Hydraulic Body Motion Control (HBMC) system provides a flatter, more stable ride on-road without sacrificing off-road articulation.

Running Costs & Resale

The Patrol LE Platinum City is a resale heavyweight in the UAE and wider GCC, typically depreciating much slower than its European counterparts at roughly 8-10% annually. While the V8 is thirsty, with a combined fuel consumption of approximately 14.5 L/100km, the widespread availability of parts and the massive authorized service network make it one of the most affordable luxury SUVs to maintain long-term. Service intervals are standard at 10,000 km, supported by Nissan centers in every major city across the region.

Performance & Capability

The 400 hp V8 engine delivers 560 Nm of torque, allowing this large SUV to reach 100 km/h in approximately 6.6 seconds, which is impressive for its size. Its 3,500 kg braked towing capacity makes it ideal for hauling boats or trailers, while the selectable 4WD system with sand and rock modes ensures it remains a dominant force in the dunes. The independent double-wishbone suspension handles the transition from rocky wadis to smooth highways with exceptional poise.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is a sanctuary of quilted leather and wood trim, designed specifically for seven passengers to travel in comfort during the GCC summer with a powerful multi-zone climate control system. Ventilated front seats are a vital feature for the local climate, complemented by rear-seat entertainment screens to keep family members occupied on long drives. Acoustic glass and high-grade insulation ensure the interior remains quiet and cool even in midday heat.

Safety

This trim features a full suite of Intelligent Mobility tech, including Intelligent Cruise Control and Forward Collision Warning, which are invaluable for fast-moving highway traffic between Emirates. It also includes Blind Spot Intervention and Lane Departure Warning to provide 360-degree protection, alongside a comprehensive airbag system that covers all three rows. The 360-degree camera system with moving object detection is particularly useful for safely navigating the Patrol's large footprint in residential areas.

The bottom line

This is the perfect opportunity for a family or enthusiast to own a delivery-mileage V8 flagship in the GCC's favorite color, offering maximum luxury and proven regional reliability.
