Nissan Sentra SV US import, 2.0L engine

Highlights

• Full ADAS suite standard
• 405 litres boot space
• Intelligent Cruise Control standard

Summary

This 2024 Nissan Sentra SV represents a modern, tech-forward choice for GCC commuters, offering a significant feature upgrade over base models. With just 25,000 km, the mileage is exceptionally low for a region where annual averages often reach 25,000 km, making this a fresh alternative to higher-usage local listings. The white exterior is the most strategic color for the Middle East, providing maximum heat reflection in summer and securing the strongest possible resale demand. As an SV trim, it bridges the gap between basic transport and premium comfort, including driver-assist tech that many rivals charge extra for. For a buyer prioritizing a nearly-new feel and low running costs, this specific listing is a standout value play in the current market.

This Car vs Other 2024 Sentras

At 25,000 km, this Sentra has effectively covered just one year of typical GCC mileage, placing it in the top tier of available used examples for this model year. While American-spec models are common, this car's low mileage and white finish provide a distinct advantage in a market that prioritizes freshness and heat-reflective colors. Buyers should note that while initial costs are lower than GCC-spec versions, this car offers the same modern 2024 styling and refreshed interior.

SV vs Lower Trims

The SV trim is the 'sweet spot' of the lineup, adding 16-inch aluminum alloy wheels and a larger 8-inch NissanConnect touchscreen over the base S model. It also introduces Intelligent Cruise Control and the Nissan Intelligent Key system with push-button start, features that significantly reduce fatigue during multi-emirate highway drives. Inside, you benefit from a 7-inch Advanced Drive-Assist Display, providing more detailed vehicle data than the standard analog units found in lower trims.

Sentra vs Segment Rivals

The Sentra leads the Toyota Corolla in cargo practicality with a larger 405-liter trunk, making it better suited for family shopping trips or airport runs. While rivals like the Honda Civic may offer a more driver-focused feel, the Sentra focuses on cabin technology and standard safety equipment at a lower price point. Its 2.0-liter engine provides 149 horsepower, which is highly competitive against the entry-level powertrains found in most segment competitors.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption averages approximately 7.3 L/100km, offering efficient performance for the long-distance highway commutes common between Dubai and Abu Dhabi. While American-spec vehicles typically experience higher annual depreciation (12-15%) compared to GCC-spec equivalents, the lower entry price of this listing offsets that initial hit. Parts are widely available across the UAE due to Nissan's massive local presence, though buyers should ensure all service history is documented to maintain the best possible value at the three-year mark.

Performance & Capability

The 149 hp 2.0-liter engine is paired with an Xtronic CVT tuned for smooth power delivery, reaching 0-100 km/h in approximately 9.2 seconds. This powertrain is ideal for GCC city traffic and maintains a planted, stable feel at highway speeds thanks to its independent multi-link rear suspension—a feature not standard on all compact sedans. Active grille shutters are standard to optimize cooling and aerodynamics, helping the engine manage the higher operating temperatures of the region.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin features Nissan's acclaimed Zero Gravity seats, designed to minimize pressure points and enhance comfort during long-distance desert drives. The 5-seat layout provides competitive legroom for a compact sedan, while the air conditioning system is robust enough to handle high summer temperatures. The SV trim's upgraded 6-speaker audio system and multiple USB ports ensure all passengers stay connected and entertained during weekend road trips across the Emirates.

Safety

This Sentra comes standard with the Nissan Safety Shield 360 suite, including Automatic Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection, Blind Spot Warning, and Rear Cross Traffic Alert. These systems are particularly valuable for navigating fast-moving multi-lane highways in the UAE and Saudi Arabia. It also features 10 airbags and Lane Departure Warning, providing a level of active protection that often requires expensive optional packages on European rivals.

The bottom line

For the budget-conscious buyer who wants 2024 technology and safety without the showroom price, this low-mileage SV trim offers the perfect balance of modern features and proven reliability.
