Summary

This 2024 Nissan Sunny SV offers a highly efficient 1.5-litre daily driving experience with significantly lower fuel costs than its segment average. In the GCC market, silver is a top-tier resale color that resists heat well and maintains a clean aesthetic despite dusty conditions. The SV trim provides a critical balance of modern tech like a 7-inch touchscreen and wireless charging, which are highly sought after by local buyers. With a robust CVT and a proven 4-cylinder engine, it stands out as one of the most reliable sub-compact sedans for navigating busy city traffic and long inter-emirate commutes. This listing represents a smart buy for those seeking a near-new vehicle with the peace of mind provided by a massive regional service network.

This Car vs Other 2024 Sunnys

With 71,084 km on the odometer, this Sunny has been utilized more than the typical 20,000–25,000 km annual average for the UAE, making it an ideal candidate for those looking for a modern 2024 model year at a more accessible entry point. The Silver Metallic exterior is a primary resale color in the GCC, ensuring it will be easier to trade in or sell privately compared to niche colors. Its mechanical condition reflects the durability Nissan is famous for in high-temperature environments.

SV vs Lower Trims

The SV trim is a significant step up from the base S model, introducing essential GCC comforts like a 7-inch infotainment display with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. It also adds a wireless phone charger and a 6-speaker audio system, features that are often deal-breakers for modern commuters. You also benefit from upgraded interior textures and the Intelligent Key system, which makes daily entry and starting much more convenient in the summer heat.

Sunny vs Segment Rivals

The Nissan Sunny leads the Toyota Yaris and Hyundai Accent in front legroom and headroom, making it the preferred choice for taller drivers or those using it for small family duties. Its 425-litre boot is deep and wide, easily accommodating large grocery runs or airport luggage that might struggle in more cramped rivals. The fuel tank is optimized for the region, offering a range that minimizes stops during long desert highway stretches.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel economy is exceptional, averaging 19.1 km/L (5.2 L/100km) in combined cycles, which is one of the best figures for non-hybrid sedans in the GCC. Nissan's authorized service centers are available in every major city across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Oman, ensuring parts are affordable and readily accessible. The Sunny historically retains roughly 80% of its value after three years in the GCC, benefiting from high demand in the secondary market.

Performance & Capability

The 1.5-litre engine is tuned for efficiency and smooth city maneuvering, paired with an Xtronic CVT that eliminates shift shock in stop-start traffic. It handles the UAE's high-speed multi-lane highways with stable composure and features a specialized Eco mode to further stretch fuel during commutes. While built for the road, its ground clearance is sufficient for navigating the standard speed bumps and sandy parking areas common in regional residential zones.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is designed to combat extreme temperatures, featuring a high-output air conditioning system that is famous for its cooling speed in the Middle East. Zero-gravity front seats provide superior lumbar support, reducing fatigue during long drives between Dubai and Abu Dhabi. The interior includes four bottle holders and a spacious center console, tailored for the hydration needs of GCC drivers during the summer months.

Safety

Safety is prioritized with standard Rear Parking Sensors and a Rear Seat Alert to help prevent accidents in crowded parking lots. The suite includes Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC) and Hill Start Assist, which provide essential stability on shifting surfaces or inclined exits. Dual front airbags, ABS with Electronic Brakeforce Distribution, and a Tire Pressure Monitoring System ensure the car meets all regional safety standards for peace of mind.

The bottom line

This 2024 Sunny SV is the perfect opportunity for a high-mileage commuter or first-time buyer to secure a current-generation Nissan with modern tech and unbeatable fuel economy. It offers the best balance of reliability, low running costs, and strong future resale value in the GCC market.
