As the top-tier trim, it includes premium tech like a 360° camera and head-up display, making it a sophisticated daily driver for UAE city traffic. The Grey exterior is a versatile, high-resale choice that holds up well against the regional sun while maintaining its professional look. With mileage reflecting typical highway commuting between emirates, this Baleno offers a modern, tech-forward ownership experience at a significantly lower running cost than its rivals. Suzuki’s legendary reliability and extensive service network across the GCC make this a low-risk, high-value opportunity for savvy buyers.

This Car vs Other 2024 Suzuki Balenos

With 52,694 km, this vehicle has been utilized for consistent regional commuting, which is typical for the GCC where annual averages reach 25,000 km. The Grey metallic finish is a strategic choice for the local market, offering better heat management than darker tones and maintaining stronger resale value than niche colors. As a 2024 model, it benefits from the latest generation's structural refinements and cabin tech, positioning it as a near-new option in the used market.

GLX vs Lower Trims

The GLX trim represents a significant leap over the base GL, adding features that are essential for the GCC climate and driving style. It upgrades to a 9-inch infotainment display, a 360° camera for effortless parking in tight city spots, and a head-up display to keep your eyes on the road during high-speed highway travel. Additionally, you get LED projector headlamps for superior night visibility and 16-inch alloy wheels that provide a more stable, premium ride.

Suzuki Baleno vs Segment Rivals

The Baleno leads its class—which includes the Toyota Yaris and Nissan Sunny—primarily in fuel economy and standard tech features. While rivals focus on basic utility, the Baleno GLX offers a more premium cabin environment with its digital cockpit elements and superior 4.2 L/100km efficiency. Its compact 10-meter turning circle also makes it more maneuverable in dense urban environments like Dubai or Riyadh compared to longer sedans in the same price bracket.

Running Costs & Resale

Running costs for the 1.2L Baleno are among the lowest in the region, requiring only standard 95-octane petrol and achieving over 20 km per litre in mixed conditions. Service intervals are typically set at 10,000 km or 6 months at authorized centers like Al Rostamani in the UAE, ensuring parts availability and warranty support across the GCC. Suzuki hatchbacks maintain a steady 8-10% annual depreciation rate, significantly outperforming many European sub-compacts in value retention.

Performance & Capability

The 1.2-litre 4-cylinder engine is tuned for efficiency and smooth city delivery, providing enough zip for daily urban errands and stable cruising on the E11 highway. While not a performance car, the lightweight chassis ensures responsive handling and easy overtaking in city traffic. Its front-wheel-drive setup and hill hold control provide a confident driving experience on the graded surfaces and flyovers typical of modern GCC infrastructure.

Comfort & Cabin

Inside, the GLX provides a surprisingly spacious environment for five adults, with more rear legroom than many larger sedans. The automatic climate control is specifically engineered to handle the extreme 45°C+ summer heat of the UAE, ensuring the cabin stays chilled even during peak afternoon drives. Tech-wise, the 9-inch screen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto ensures seamless connectivity for long-distance family trips.

Safety

Safety is a priority in the GLX, featuring six airbags as standard, which is an upgrade over the two found in lower trims. It includes vital systems for GCC highways such as Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD), Brake Assist, and a 360° camera that eliminates blind spots during lane changes and parking. The inclusion of ISOFIX points also makes it a secure and practical choice for small families.

The bottom line

Perfect for the professional commuter or small family seeking a tech-rich, ultra-efficient hatchback that is as easy to park as it is on the wallet. This GCC-spec GLX listing offers the ideal balance of current-year technology and proven Suzuki reliability.
