• Extensive GCC authorized service network
• Strong value retention in the GCC used market

Summary

This 2024 Victory V2 is a highly pragmatic solution for commercial transport and fleet operations, offering a significant saving over established Japanese rivals. With a vehicle age of 2 years and 46,000 km, this unit has been utilized for professional duty but remains within the prime of its mechanical lifespan. The white exterior is the most sought-after color for GCC resale, effectively reflecting desert heat and maintaining long-term value. As a 9-seater with a versatile high-roof cabin, it fills a specific niche for shuttle services and staff transport that few other modern buses can match at this price point. The single most important consideration for a GCC buyer is the straightforward maintenance of the manual 1.2L powertrain, which is ideal for high-utilization environments.

This Car vs Other 2024 V2s

With 46,000 km over 2 years, this vehicle sits at the average mileage threshold for a high-occupancy commercial bus in the GCC market. While many transport vehicles are driven more aggressively, this unit represents a balanced usage profile, ensuring major mechanical components are well-tested without being near end-of-life. The white paint provides a clear resale advantage in local markets, historically retaining value better than darker tones.

STANDARD vs Lower Trims

The Standard trim on the 2024 V2 includes essential GCC requirements such as high-output air conditioning and rear cooling vents, which are critical for passenger comfort during peak summer months. Unlike lower-specification or cargo-only variants, this trim features a full 9-passenger seating configuration and front power windows as standard. It avoids the complex electronics of premium vans, ensuring that fleet downtime and repair costs are kept to a minimum.

V2 vs Segment Rivals

The Victory V2 leads its segment in cost-to-occupancy ratio, providing more seating than the Suzuki Ertiga while maintaining a smaller, more maneuverable footprint than the Toyota Hiace. Its 1.2L engine is specifically tuned for urban efficiency, making it a better choice for city-based shuttle runs compared to larger-displacement rivals. The high-roof design ensures that vertical cabin space is more generous than typical MPV-based competitors, facilitating easier passenger ingress and egress.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption for the 1.2L engine is highly efficient, typically averaging between 6.5 and 7.5 L/100km in mixed GCC driving conditions. Victory has established a robust service network across the UAE and Saudi Arabia, with authorized centers in major hubs like Riyadh, Jeddah, and Dubai ensuring parts availability is never a concern. The model enjoys a steady depreciation curve, losing approximately 10-12% annually, which is highly competitive for the commercial segment.

Performance & Capability

The 86 hp output from the 4-cylinder engine is delivered through a 5-speed manual transmission, offering the driver precise control over torque delivery when fully loaded. While not designed for high-speed highway sprints, the V2 excels in stop-start city traffic and local shuttle routes where its compact turning circle is a major asset. The front-wheel-drive layout provides stable and predictable handling on paved UAE roads, even during heavy rain or wind.

Comfort & Cabin

Inside, the high-roof configuration accommodates nine or more passengers with sufficient headroom to prevent the cabin from feeling cramped. The air conditioning system is tailored for the GCC climate, featuring dedicated rear vents to ensure that the final row of passengers remains cool in 45-degree heat. Fabric seating is selected for its durability and lower heat retention compared to synthetic leather, making it more practical for long-term commercial use.

Safety

Safety is managed through a reinforced steel structure designed to protect the passenger cell, accompanied by standard ABS and front airbags. The manual transmission offers additional safety through engine braking, which is useful for maintaining control when descending parking ramps or urban inclines with a full passenger load. Blind-spot visibility is enhanced by large side mirrors, a necessary feature for navigating the multi-lane highways of Dubai and Abu Dhabi.

The bottom line

This Victory V2 is the ideal choice for a UAE-based business or hotel needing a cost-effective, high-occupancy shuttle with a strong service backing. It offers a near-new 2024 model year advantage at a price point that makes immediate fleet expansion highly accessible.
