Summary

This 2025 Ford Everest XLS is a compelling choice for GCC buyers, offering nearly new-car condition with under 8,000 km on the clock. Finished in White, it benefits from the region's strongest resale color, effectively masking desert dust and reflecting intense summer heat. While rivals often force a choice between city comfort and trail capability, this EcoBoost-powered SUV delivers the refined 10-speed automatic needed for Dubai traffic alongside a robust ladder-frame chassis for weekend adventures. As a GCC-spec model, it ensures full local warranty support and an air conditioning system specifically tuned for 45°C+ temperatures.

This Car vs Other 2025 Everests

With just 7,918 km, this vehicle sits significantly below the typical 20,000 km annual average for the GCC, representing a rare opportunity to acquire a current-model SUV that is barely run-in. The White exterior is highly strategic for the local market, ensuring it remains the easiest color to maintain and sell later. Its mechanical freshness offers a clear advantage over higher-mileage 2025 units often found in rental or corporate fleets.

XLS vs Lower Trims

The XLS trim serves as the essential entry point into Ford's 4WD ecosystem, providing a significant power jump over base models found in other markets. It comes standard with the 10.1-inch SYNC 4 infotainment system and wireless smartphone integration, features that GCC buyers prioritize for daily convenience. Unlike base commercial variants, the XLS includes dedicated rear A/C vents and a full seven-seat configuration, making it a proper family-ready SUV from day one.

Everest vs Segment Rivals

The Everest leads many competitors like the Toyota Fortuner and Mitsubishi Montero Sport in technical refinement, utilizing a 10-speed automatic transmission that offers smoother highway cruising than their older gearboxes. Its 80-litre fuel tank provides a superior cruising range for long cross-border drives to Oman or Saudi Arabia. Furthermore, the 2.3L EcoBoost engine produces more standard horsepower than several V6 rivals in this segment.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption for the 2.3L EcoBoost typically averages between 10.5 and 12 L/100km, performing efficiently on high-speed motorways between Emirates. Ford’s authorized service network is extensive across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Kuwait, ensuring parts and expert technicians are always accessible. Historically, GCC-spec Everests maintain approximately 60-65% of their value after three years, outperforming many American and European crossovers due to their rugged body-on-frame durability.

Performance & Capability

The 2.3L EcoBoost engine generates a substantial 420 Nm of torque, allowing for confident highway overtaking even when fully loaded with seven passengers. With an 800 mm wading depth and a selectable AWD system, it is purpose-built for the varied terrain of the Middle East, from coastal wadis to gravel trails. The 10-speed transmission is specifically tuned to keep the engine in its power band, whether navigating steep mountain passes or heavy city congestion.

Comfort & Cabin

Designed for long-distance regional travel, the cabin features three rows of seating with independent rear climate controls to ensure all seven passengers remain cool during peak summer. The digital cockpit and large vertical touchscreen provide a modern environment that feels a generation ahead of traditional ladder-frame competitors. High-quality insulation effectively blocks out road and wind noise, a vital feature for the UAE's 120 km/h highway network.

Safety

Safety is comprehensive with a suite of six airbags and electronic stability control tuned for both sand and tarmac. Standard driver assistance includes a rearview camera and parking sensors, which are essential for navigating large SUVs in tight urban parking structures. The Everest's robust construction provides a secure foundation, offering a level of physical protection that monocoque crossovers rarely match.

The bottom line

This is the ideal opportunity for a family or adventurer looking for a 2025 SUV with delivery-level mileage without the new-car showroom price. Its GCC-spec status and popular color choice make it a safe, high-value investment for the local market.
