Summary

This 2024 Nissan X-Terra SE is a compelling family SUV, offering a nearly new ownership experience with significantly lower than average mileage for the GCC market. Its white exterior is the most sought-after color for local resale, ensuring strong value retention when it's time to upgrade. As a GCC-spec model, it is purpose-built to handle extreme summer heat with a cooling system designed for the region's unique demands. For buyers seeking a modern seven-seater that balances city practicality with weekend durability, this listing represents one of the most reliable entry points into the mid-size SUV segment.

This Car vs Other 2024 X-Terras

With just 20,500 km on the odometer, this X-Terra has been driven significantly less than the typical 25,000 km annual average for SUVs in the UAE. The white exterior is a strategic choice for the GCC market, as it deflects heat more effectively and remains the top-performing color for resale value. Compared to other 2024 models currently listed, this vehicle's low usage and regional specification make it a high-tier option for discerning buyers.

SE vs Lower Trims

The SE trim provides a meaningful upgrade over the base XE, adding essential GCC features like roof rails and integrated side steps for easier cabin access. Inside, you benefit from a leather-wrapped steering wheel and upgraded infotainment capabilities that enhance the daily commute. These additions, combined with the 7-speed automatic transmission, offer a more refined driving experience than the entry-level variants without the steep price jump of the Platinum trim.

X-Terra vs Segment Rivals

The X-Terra leads its primary rivals, the Toyota Fortuner 2.7L and Mitsubishi Montero Sport, by offering a massive 78-litre fuel tank that is ideal for long cross-emirate highway drives. While competitors often feel utilitarian, the Nissan provides superior cabin quietness and a 7-speed transmission that is more responsive than the CVTs or 6-speed units found in the segment. Its body-on-frame construction ensures it handles light desert excursions with more confidence than road-biased crossovers.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption for the 2.5L engine averages around 8.8 L/100km, making it one of the most efficient seven-seaters for stop-start city traffic in Dubai or Riyadh. Nissan maintains one of the most extensive authorized service networks across all seven Emirates and the wider GCC, ensuring parts are always available and affordable. Historically, the X-Terra retains roughly 85-90% of its value in its first year, benefiting from Nissan's reputation for mechanical durability in desert climates.

Performance & Capability

The 165 hp engine produces 241 Nm of torque, which is specifically tuned for strong low-end delivery, perfect for navigating sandy terrain or hauling a full load of seven passengers. On the highway, the 7-speed automatic transmission ensures smooth cruising at the 140 km/h speed limits common on UAE motorways. With a high ground clearance of 243 mm, this SUV is well-equipped for weekend camping trips and handles gravel tracks and dunes with ease.

Comfort & Cabin

The seven-seat layout features theater-style seating, giving rear passengers a better view and reducing motion sickness during long drives to Jebel Jais or Salalah. The air conditioning system is legendary for its power, featuring dedicated vents for all three rows to ensure rapid cooling during peak 45°C summer days. High-quality fabric upholstery stays cooler than leather in the sun, while the quiet cabin insulation makes it a relaxed environment for family road trips.

Safety

This X-Terra SE comes standard with a comprehensive safety suite including dual front airbags, Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), and Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD). It features a Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) which is vital for safe highway driving in extreme heat, along with rear parking sensors to make maneuvering this large SUV effortless in tight urban spaces. Stability control and hill start assist provide additional security when driving on loose sand or steep inclines.

The bottom line

For the GCC family seeking a nearly-new, low-mileage SUV that is easy to maintain and holds its value, this X-Terra SE is the most logical and reliable choice on the market today.
