Summary

This 2025 Ford Ranger Raptor is a specialized performance machine engineered for high-speed desert dominance, making it a premier choice for GCC enthusiasts. With just over 1,000 km, this blue example is essentially brand new, offering a significant saving over showroom pricing while maintaining the full factory warranty. Unlike standard pickups, the Raptor features a purpose-built reinforced chassis and advanced suspension designed to handle extreme heat and technical dunes with ease. In the local market, this blue exterior is a respected and high-visibility choice that holds its value well among the off-roading community. It remains the most capable mid-size truck available in the region, bridging the gap between a work vehicle and a desert racer.

This Car vs Other 2025 Ranger Raptors

At only 1,062 km, this vehicle's mileage is exceptionally low for the GCC market, where high-speed highway commuting often leads to much higher first-year totals. It presents as a fresh alternative to a showroom purchase, having barely completed its initial break-in period. The blue exterior is a vibrant, signature color for the Raptor line that consistently attracts a strong following in the used market.

RAPTOR vs Lower Trims

The Raptor trim completely transforms the Ranger platform, replacing the standard leaf springs with a specialized Watts-link rear suspension and FOX Live Valve shocks. It adds critical performance hardware including front and rear locking differentials, a widened track for stability, and the exclusive 'Baja' drive mode for high-speed sand runs. Inside, you gain premium touches like the B&O audio system and cast-magnesium paddle shifters not found on lower trims.

Ranger vs Segment Rivals

While rivals like the Toyota Hilux GR-Sport focus on durability, the Ranger Raptor leads the segment in raw performance and suspension technology, offering significantly more horsepower from its twin-turbo V6. Its 12-inch vertical SYNC 4A touchscreen and advanced 360-degree camera system provide a more tech-forward cabin than many competitors. For long GCC highway stretches, its 10-speed automatic provides superior cruising refinement compared to traditional six-speed units.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption for the GCC-spec Raptor averages approximately 11.5 to 12.8 L/100km, depending on the mix of city traffic and highway driving. Ford's extensive authorized service network across the UAE and Saudi Arabia ensures that maintenance is straightforward, with service intervals typically every 10,000 km. Historically, the Raptor variant retains a much higher percentage of its value than standard pickups due to its status as a specialized performance icon.

Performance & Capability

The 392 hp twin-turbo V6 engine delivers a verified 0-100 km/h time of approximately 5.7 seconds, allowing for effortless overtaking on fast-moving UAE highways. Its off-road capability is anchored by a 272 mm ground clearance and specialized terrain modes that adjust steering weight, exhaust note, and suspension damping. Despite its performance focus, it maintains a practical 2,500 kg braked towing capacity for weekend equipment hauling.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is designed for long-distance comfort in the desert heat, featuring Ford Performance sports seats with substantial bolsters and red accents. The dual-zone climate control is specifically calibrated for the GCC summer, quickly cooling the five-seat interior even in peak temperatures. Standard tech includes a 12.4-inch digital instrument cluster and integrated upfitter switches for aftermarket lights or accessories.

Safety

The Raptor is equipped with a comprehensive ADAS suite, including Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop-and-Go, which is invaluable for long drives between emirates. Essential safety features for the region include Blind Spot Monitoring with Cross-Traffic Alert and a 360-degree camera that assists in both tight city parking and technical off-road maneuvering. The vehicle also features seven airbags and EBB (Electronic Brake Booster) for enhanced stopping power on mixed surfaces.

The bottom line

This is a rare opportunity to secure a near-zero-mile 2025 Raptor in a standout color, offering the ultimate blend of GCC desert capability and modern daily refinement.
