• 24-speaker Klipsch Reference Premiere audio system standard

Summary

This 2025 Infiniti QX80 represents a complete generational leap, offering a more powerful twin-turbocharged V6 that outperforms the outgoing V8 while providing significant tech upgrades. The Autograph trim is the pinnacle of the lineup, finished in a high-resale Black exterior that remains the most sought-after color for luxury SUVs in the UAE and wider GCC. With its fresh redesign and improved fuel efficiency, this model stands as a formidable competitor to the Lexus LX600 and Cadillac Escalade. For the GCC buyer, the most important consideration is the standard Electronic Air Suspension, which offers superior ride comfort over long highway stretches and adaptable ground clearance for varied terrain.

This Car vs Other 2025 QX80s

While most 2025 models in the market are new, this specific listing benefits from the range-topping Autograph configuration, which is harder to find than the base trims. The black-on-black aesthetic is a high-demand combination in the GCC, ensuring stronger resale potential compared to niche colors. As a GCC-spec vehicle, it comes with the localized cooling and warranty support essential for regional peace of mind.

AUTOGRAPH BENCH CHAIRS vs Lower Trims

The Autograph trim elevates the cabin with dot-quilted semi-aniline leather across all three rows and adds a 24-speaker Klipsch audio system that replaces the standard 14-speaker unit. Crucially for the GCC climate, it adds massaging functions to the second row and biometric cooling that adjusts airflow based on passenger body temperature. This specific Bench Chairs variant offers a rare 8-seat configuration, providing more family flexibility than the standard captain's chairs found on most Autograph models.

QX80 vs Segment Rivals

The QX80 leads rivals like the BMW X7 and Mercedes-Benz GLS in pure towing capability, boasting an 8,500 lbs (3,855 kg) capacity ideal for hauling large boats or trailers. Its 3.5-litre twin-turbo V6 produces 516 lb-ft of torque, providing more low-end pull for highway overtaking than the Lexus LX600. The inclusion of the 'Invisible Hood View' camera system also gives it a technological edge in tight urban parking and technical driving scenarios.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption for the new twin-turbo V6 is improved over the previous generation, averaging approximately 13.8 L/100km in combined GCC driving. Service intervals are recommended every 10,000 km at authorized centers, which are widely available across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Kuwait. While luxury SUVs in this segment typically see a 12-15% annual depreciation, the redesign and high trim level help the QX80 retain value better than European competitors over the first three years.

Performance & Capability

The 450 hp twin-turbo V6 delivers effortless acceleration, making the QX80 feel significantly more agile than its predecessor during high-speed highway merging. The standard Electronic Air Suspension allows the vehicle to raise to a 254 mm maximum ground clearance for navigating gravel tracks or lower to 130 mm for easier passenger entry. With dedicated drive modes including Sport, Eco, and Snow, the All-Wheel Drive system is tuned to handle both the extreme heat of city traffic and the occasional weekend escape to the desert outskirts.

Comfort & Cabin

The 8-seat layout features a second-row bench, making it one of the few true luxury SUVs capable of carrying large families without compromising on material quality. The tri-zone advanced climate control is specifically engineered for high-ambient temperatures, utilizing infrared sensors to detect if a passenger is too hot and directing cooling instantly. Acoustic glass and extensive sound dampening ensure the 24-speaker Klipsch system delivers studio-quality audio even at highway speeds.

Safety

This trim comes standard with ProPILOT Assist 2.1, providing hands-free highway driving capabilities and advanced lane-keep assistance. The comprehensive safety suite includes Predictive Forward Collision Warning, which monitors two vehicles ahead, and a 360-degree Around View Monitor with Moving Object Detection. These systems are particularly valuable on fast-moving GCC highways, offering an extra layer of protection during long-distance travel.

The bottom line

This 2025 Infiniti QX80 Autograph is the ideal choice for a GCC family looking for the latest in luxury technology and 8-seat practicality without the long waitlists of its rivals. With its high-resale color and top-tier trim, it represents a secure investment in the current UAE luxury SUV market.
