Summary

This 2025 Jetour T2 LUX is a compelling choice for buyers seeking a rugged adventure SUV without the premium price tag of traditional off-roaders. Despite being just 1 year old, this GCC-spec unit has covered 75,000 km, suggesting it has been a reliable long-distance companion on the region's highways. The LUX trim offers significant technology upgrades over the base model, including a massive 15.6-inch console and a full suite of driver assistance systems. Its black exterior is one of the most desirable colors in the GCC, ensuring better resale stability in a fast-moving market. For the buyer who prioritizes modern tech and a commanding road presence, this T2 stands out as a high-spec workhorse ready for its next journey.

This Car vs Other 2025 Jetour T2s

With 75,000 km on the odometer, this T2 has been driven significantly more than the GCC annual average of 25,000 km. While the mileage is high for a 1-year-old vehicle, it indicates a car that has likely spent its life on smooth UAE highways rather than in punishing stop-start city traffic. The black exterior remains a top-tier choice for local resale, helping to offset the depreciation typical for high-mileage newer models.

LUX vs Lower Trims

The LUX trim is a major step up from the Comfort base model, adding essential GCC features like ventilated front seats and a panoramic sunroof. It also upgrades the audio experience to a premium Sony 12-speaker system and introduces the 540-degree panoramic parking system with a transparent chassis view. These additions, along with the larger 19-inch wheels and adaptive cruise control, make the LUX the preferred choice for regional buyers.

T2 vs Segment Rivals

The T2 competes directly with the GWM Tank 300 and the BAIC BJ40, leading with a more refined, unibody road-biased comfort while maintaining respectable 220 mm ground clearance. Unlike the more agricultural feel of some rivals, the T2 offers a massive 15.6-inch infotainment screen and a smoother 7-speed DCT. It also features a larger 70-litre fuel tank, providing superior range for long-distance desert road trips across the Emirates or into Oman.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption for the 2.0T engine averages between 9L and 11L/100km in mixed GCC driving conditions. Service intervals are required every 10,000 km, and Jetour has established a strong authorized service network through Elite Motors in the UAE and NMS in Saudi Arabia. While Chinese SUVs experience steeper initial depreciation than Japanese brands, the T2's high initial equipment levels and 10-year engine warranty help sustain its value for long-term owners.

Performance & Capability

Powered by a 2.0L turbo engine producing 252 hp and 390 Nm of torque, the T2 offers effortless highway overtaking even when fully loaded. The BorgWarner 6th-gen intelligent 4WD system features seven selectable driving modes, including specific settings for sand and rocks. With a 39-degree approach angle and a 30-degree departure angle, it is well-equipped for weekend wadi explorations and moderate desert dune driving.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is designed for the harsh GCC summer, featuring powerful dual-zone climate control and ventilated front seats standard on this LUX trim. The 5-seat layout provides class-leading legroom and a flat floor, ensuring passenger comfort during cross-country drives. Acoustic glass and high-quality interior materials help isolate the cabin from the extreme outside heat and road noise during high-speed highway cruising.

Safety

This T2 comes equipped with a comprehensive Level 2 ADAS suite, featuring adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assist, and automatic emergency braking. The 540-degree camera system is particularly useful in the GCC, providing a 'see-through' view of the ground beneath the car to avoid obstacles during off-road excursions or tight city parking. Standard safety equipment also includes front, side, and curtain airbags for all-around passenger protection.

The bottom line

This Jetour T2 is the perfect opportunity for an active driver who wants a high-spec, modern SUV that has already proven its reliability over long distances. It offers a premium adventure experience at a fraction of the cost of its rivals, backed by a robust regional service network.
