Summary

This 1-year-old Jetour T2 LUX is a compelling entry into the adventure SUV segment, offering a rugged aesthetic and modern technology at a competitive price point. With 45,910 km, the mileage is slightly higher than the GCC annual average for a one-year-old car, yet it remains well within the mechanical limits of its robust turbocharged powertrain. The Grey exterior is one of the most practical and sought-after colors in the UAE, ensuring strong resale demand. Compared to rivals, the T2 stands out with its boxy, off-road-inspired presence and a cabin loaded with features typically found in premium segments. For the GCC buyer, the balance of daily urban comfort and weekend capability makes this specific listing a versatile choice.

This Car vs Other 2025 Jetour T2s

While the 45,910 km on this vehicle is slightly above the typical 25,000 km expected for a one-year-old car in the UAE, it reflects reliable highway use rather than harsh off-road wear. The Grey finish is a high-utility choice for the region, effectively hiding dust and maintaining its appeal in the used market better than bolder colors. As a GCC-spec model, it benefits from the region's industry-leading 10-year engine warranty, a major value-add for subsequent owners.

LUX vs Lower Trims

The LUX trim is a significant upgrade over the entry-level Comfort (COM) variant, adding essential features for the GCC climate like ventilated front seats and a panoramic sunroof. It also introduces a more sophisticated technology suite, including a 12-speaker Sony premium audio system and the 540-degree 'transparent chassis' camera system. Safety is also enhanced on the LUX with additional side curtain airbags and a full suite of ADAS features like Lane Keep Assist and Blind Spot Monitoring.

T2 vs Segment Rivals

The Jetour T2 competes directly with the Tank 300 and Haval Dargo, leading the group in terms of wheelbase length and interior tech real estate. Its BorgWarner XWD system provides a more automated, user-friendly approach to light desert driving compared to the manual lockers found in some rivals. Additionally, its 70-liter fuel tank offers greater range for long-distance highway hauls between Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Riyadh.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption for the 2.0L turbo engine averages between 10-12 L/100km in GCC city traffic, improving to approximately 9 L/100km on highways. Service support is robust across the UAE through Elite Motors and Al Naboodah, with intervals typically set at 10,000 km. While Chinese brands generally face steeper initial depreciation than Japanese rivals, the T2’s massive 10-year transferable warranty significantly stabilizes its value retention in the 3-to-5-year window.

Performance & Capability

The 2.0-liter turbocharged engine delivers 254 hp and 390 Nm of torque, enabling a 0-100 km/h sprint in approximately 8.7 seconds, which is more than adequate for merging onto fast-moving UAE highways. Its 220 mm ground clearance and 700 mm wading depth make it surprisingly capable for wadi exploration and desert trails. The sixth-generation BorgWarner 4WD system intelligently shifts power between axles, allowing for seamless transitions from smooth asphalt to loose sand.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is designed for GCC summers, featuring a high-output air conditioning system with rear vents and ventilated seats to combat the 45°C heat. The 15.6-inch central touchscreen is the hub for navigation and entertainment, while the acoustic glass helps isolate the interior from road noise during long commutes. The 5-seat layout offers generous legroom and a 580-liter boot, which is ample for family road trips or grocery runs.

Safety

Safety is a priority in the LUX trim, featuring 6 airbags and a 5-star standard safety architecture. The vehicle is equipped with an advanced ADAS platform including Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB), Forward Collision Warning, and Adaptive Cruise Control, which are particularly useful for maintaining safety during long desert highway drives. The 360-degree camera system provides total visibility, making parking in tight urban spaces like Dubai Mall effortless.

The bottom line

For the buyer seeking a modern, high-spec SUV that looks as good on the school run as it does on a Hatta weekend, this GCC-spec T2 LUX offers a lot of car for the money with the added peace of mind of a long-term engine warranty.
