Summary

This 2025 Jetour X70 Plus in the premium LUX trim offers an exceptional balance of modern technology and refined comfort that challenges more expensive established brands. In the GCC market, the white exterior is the most practical choice for heat reflection and consistently holds the strongest resale value. With the upgraded 1.6-litre turbocharged engine, this SUV provides the necessary power for confident highway overtaking and carrying a full load between emirates. It stands out from rivals by including high-end features like ventilated seats and a 360-degree camera as standard equipment. For any buyer in the region, the transferable 10-year or 1-million km powertrain warranty remains one of the most compelling reasons to choose a nearly-new Jetour.

This Car vs Other 2025 Jetour X70 Pluss

While many 2025 models in the used market have very low delivery mileage, this example has been actively driven, covering approximately 59,000 km in its first year. This indicates consistent highway use, common for commuters between Dubai and Abu Dhabi, where these vehicles often perform most efficiently. The white exterior is a major advantage for local resale, remaining the most in-demand color in the UAE used market.

LUX vs Lower Trims

The LUX trim significantly upgrades the ownership experience over the Comfort variant by adding essential GCC features like ventilated and heated front seats. It also introduces a comprehensive ADAS safety suite, including blind-spot monitoring and lane-keeping assist, alongside a more powerful 8-speaker audio system and 20-inch alloy wheels. These premium additions make the LUX much more desirable at the point of resale.

X70 Plus vs Segment Rivals

The Jetour X70 Plus competes against established rivals like the MG RX5 and the GAC GS4, where it leads with a larger 1.6-litre turbocharged output of 197 hp. While many competitors charge extra for advanced tech, the X70 Plus provides a 360-degree camera and a panoramic sunroof as standard features. Its 57-litre fuel tank is well-suited for long-distance cruising across the GCC highway network.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption for the 1.6T engine typically ranges between 10 and 13 km/L, depending on the balance of city stop-start traffic and high-speed highway cruising. Maintenance is straightforward with a growing network of authorized service centers across the UAE and Saudi Arabia, typically requiring service every 10,000 km. Jetour models have shown competitive value retention in the GCC, largely supported by their industry-leading transferable warranties.

Performance & Capability

The 1.6-litre turbocharged engine produces a robust 197 hp and 290 Nm of torque, paired with a smooth 7-speed dual-clutch transmission. This powertrain is specifically tuned for reliable performance in extreme summer heat, providing effortless acceleration for highway entry and merging. With a ground clearance of approximately 210 mm, it handles gravel tracks and uneven terrain comfortably during weekend family outings.

Comfort & Cabin

Inside, the LUX trim features premium leatherette upholstery and a dual-screen digital cockpit that gives the cabin a high-tech, executive feel. Climate comfort is prioritized for the GCC region with powerful dual-zone automatic AC and dedicated vents for the second row. The inclusion of ventilated front seats is a critical luxury that ensures comfort even during the peak summer months.

Safety

Safety is a hallmark of the LUX trim, which comes standard with a full suite of active driver aids including Forward Collision Warning, Automatic Emergency Braking, and Lane Departure Warning. The 360-degree camera system provides essential visibility for parking in tight urban spaces, while multiple airbags and electronic stability control offer peace of mind for high-speed highway travel.

The bottom line

For the value-conscious GCC buyer who refuses to compromise on technology, this LUX trim Jetour X70 Plus offers a high-spec SUV experience with the long-term security of a transferable 1-million km warranty.
