Summary

This 2025 Lexus RX 500h F SPORT PERFORMANCE represents the peak of the RX range, offering a significant power advantage over the 350h while maintaining the brand's legendary refinement. With only 8,000 km, this vehicle is in near-showroom condition and sits well below the typical annual GCC mileage of 20,000 km, making it a highly attractive low-mileage option. The Black exterior is a perennially strong resale choice in the UAE, providing a stealthy, executive look that pairs perfectly with the aggressive F SPORT styling. This model stands out by replacing the standard CVT with a proper 6-speed automatic and DIRECT4 all-wheel drive, transforming the driving dynamics for the enthusiast buyer. For the GCC owner, this is the rare hybrid that delivers genuine highway overtaking authority alongside city efficiency.

This Car vs Other 2025 RX500hs

With just 8,000 km on the odometer, this RX 500h is a standout low-mileage example in a market where annual distances often exceed 25,000 km. Its GCC specification ensures full local warranty support and a cooling system optimized for the region's extreme summer heat. The black-on-black aesthetic is highly sought after in the secondary market, ensuring this listing remains a top-tier choice for resale value retention.

F SPORT PERFORMANCE vs Lower Trims

The F SPORT PERFORMANCE trim is a complete mechanical departure from the RX 350h, trading the efficiency-focused CVT for a performance-tuned 6-speed automatic and a high-torque 2.4L turbo engine. It adds the DIRECT4 all-wheel-drive system and Dynamic Rear Steering, which significantly improves agility on tight city streets and stability at highway speeds. Inside, you gain exclusive F SPORT bolstered seats, a 14-inch touchscreen, and a premium 21-speaker Mark Levinson audio system that is often an optional extra on lower grades.

RX500h vs Segment Rivals

When compared to rivals like the BMW X5 xDrive40i or the Mercedes-Benz GLE 450, the RX 500h offers a unique hybrid proposition that balances 366 hp with superior urban fuel economy. While German competitors focus on traditional straight-six power, the Lexus leads in long-term reliability perceptions and authorized service accessibility across the entire GCC. The inclusion of rear-wheel steering as standard gives it a tighter turning circle than many of its larger-bodied European counterparts.

Running Costs & Resale

Lexus maintains some of the highest resale values in the GCC, typically depreciating at just 8–10% annually compared to 12–18% for European luxury SUVs. The hybrid powertrain is particularly effective in GCC stop-start traffic, achieving a real-world combined figure of approximately 8.4 L/100km, a significant saving over gas-only V6 rivals. Service intervals are every 10,000 km or 6 months, supported by one of the most extensive authorized service networks in the UAE and Saudi Arabia.

Performance & Capability

The RX 500h delivers 366 hp and 460 Nm of torque, enabling a 0–100 km/h sprint in just 6.2 seconds, making it the fastest-accelerating RX ever produced. The DIRECT4 AWD system actively shifts power between the front and rear axles to provide maximum traction during high-speed highway merging or when navigating rain-slicked tarmac. Six distinct drive modes allow the driver to prioritize maximum efficiency for city commutes or sharpen the throttle and suspension for more spirited drives.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is designed for the GCC climate, featuring highly effective ventilated front seats and a powerful triple-zone climate control system that reaches target temperatures rapidly even in mid-summer. The 5-seat layout provides generous legroom for all passengers, while acoustic glass ensures the interior remains a quiet sanctuary from exterior road and wind noise. Premium materials including Dark Rose or Black Alcantara accents define the F SPORT interior, providing a tactile sense of luxury that rivals the best in class.

Safety

Standard with Lexus Safety System+ 3.0, this vehicle includes a full suite of ADAS features including Pre-Collision System with Pedestrian Detection and Intersection Support. For GCC highway driving, the Dynamic Radar Cruise Control and Lane Tracing Assist significantly reduce driver fatigue on long trips between emirates. A 360-degree Panoramic View Monitor is standard, providing essential visibility for parking in tight urban spaces, complemented by Blind Spot Monitoring and Rear Cross-Traffic Alert.

The bottom line

This is the ideal opportunity for a buyer seeking the ultimate Lexus SUV without the wait times of a new order; it offers the perfect balance of performance hybrid technology and rock-solid GCC resale value.
