Summary

This 2021 model offers a compelling entry into the flagship luxury SUV segment, combining legendary Japanese reliability with a high-spec cabin. With mileage reflecting typical highway use in the region, this vehicle remains mechanically robust and well-suited for long-distance travel. The white exterior is the most sought-after resale color in the GCC, ensuring strong value retention when it comes time to upgrade. As one of the final years of the naturally aspirated V8 generation, it delivers a smooth, effortless power delivery that modern turbocharged rivals struggle to match. For the GCC buyer, it represents the ideal balance of prestige, desert-ready capability, and peace of mind.

This Car vs Other 2021 LX570s

With approximately 75,892 km on the odometer, this vehicle sits comfortably within the expected mileage range for a high-end SUV in the GCC, where 20,000–25,000 km per year is the standard for highway-heavy commuting. The white paintwork is a significant advantage in the local market, offering the highest resale demand and better heat reflection during peak summer months. Unlike many regional examples that have seen heavy off-road use, this Canadian-spec model presents a clean, well-maintained profile ready for its next owner.

PLATINUM vs Lower Trims

The Platinum trim elevates the LX570 experience by including the premium 19-speaker Mark Levinson Reference Surround Sound system and a sophisticated Rear Seat Entertainment system with dual screens. It also adds ventilated and heated seats for both the front and second rows, a feature set essential for maintaining comfort in the extreme GCC climate. Additionally, this trim features the 360-degree Panoramic View Monitor, making it much easier to navigate tight city parking and narrow mall ramps.

LX570 vs Segment Rivals

When compared to the Range Rover or Cadillac Escalade, the LX570 leads in long-term mechanical durability and ease of maintenance across the Middle East. Its body-on-frame construction provides a level of ruggedness for weekend desert trips that monocoque rivals cannot replicate without higher maintenance costs. Furthermore, the Lexus cooling system is specifically engineered to handle the high ambient temperatures of the region more effectively than its European counterparts.

Running Costs & Resale

Fuel consumption averages approximately 16.9 L/100km combined, which is standard for a heavy-duty 5.7L V8 engine in GCC stop-start traffic and highway cruising. Lexus remains a gold standard for value retention in the UAE and Saudi markets, typically losing only 8–10% of its value annually compared to the steeper 15% seen in luxury rivals. Authorized service centers are widely available across all seven Emirates and neighboring GCC countries, ensuring parts and expert technicians are always accessible.

Performance & Capability

The 5.7-litre V8 engine produces 383 horsepower, providing a smooth and linear torque curve that is perfect for overtaking on the E11 or E311 highways. The vehicle is equipped with a full-time Four-Wheel Drive system featuring a Torsen limited-slip center differential and a low-range transfer case for genuine off-road performance. With a ground clearance of 225 mm and Multi-Terrain Select, it transition effortlessly from city luxury to soft-sand desert capability.

Comfort & Cabin

The 8-seat configuration is designed for large families, featuring a power-sliding second row and power-folding third row for flexible cargo management. High-performance 4-zone climate control with 'Climate Concierge' ensures every passenger stays cool, even when outside temperatures exceed 45°C. The cabin is further enhanced by semi-aniline leather upholstery and a cooled center console box, perfect for keeping drinks chilled during long cross-country drives.

Safety

The Lexus Safety System+ comes standard, featuring Pre-Collision System with Pedestrian Detection, Lane Departure Alert, and All-Speed Dynamic Radar Cruise Control, which is invaluable for long highway stretches. Blind Spot Monitoring and Rear Cross-Traffic Alert provide essential visibility for multi-lane city driving. The vehicle is also equipped with 10 standard airbags, providing comprehensive protection for all three rows of passengers.

The bottom line

This Platinum trim LX570 is a perfect match for the family looking for a prestigious, bulletproof SUV that will hold its value better than almost anything else on the road.
