Summary

This 2024 Lexus RX 500h F Sport Performance is a standout choice in the GCC market, offering the perfect balance of low mileage and high-performance hybrid technology. Finished in White, the region's most popular color for heat reflection and resale value, this specific unit is barely broken in with only 14,000 km on the clock. The F Sport Performance trim is the top-tier configuration, providing far more engagement than the standard RX models while maintaining the legendary reliability Lexus is known for in the Middle East. With its GCC-specific cooling systems and advanced Direct4 all-wheel drive, it handles both high-speed highway commutes between emirates and heavy city traffic with effortless composure. This is a rare opportunity to own the range-topping version of one of the UAE’s most trusted luxury SUVs without the wait times associated with a brand-new order.

This Car vs Other 2024 RX500hs

With just 14,000 km, this vehicle sits well below the typical 20,000–25,000 km annual average for the GCC, indicating it has been used sparingly as a secondary vehicle. The White exterior is the optimal choice for the local market, ensuring it stays cooler in direct sunlight and commands the highest interest at resale. Being a GCC-spec model, it includes the full manufacturer-backed support and regional climate tuning that imported versions lack.

F SPORT PERFORMANCE vs Lower Trims

The F Sport Performance trim is a significant mechanical upgrade over the RX 350 or 350h, replacing the standard CVT with a more responsive 6-speed automatic and a high-output 2.4L turbo-hybrid system. Inside, you move from standard audio to the immersive 21-speaker Mark Levinson system and gain the F Sport-specific bolstered seats and adaptive variable suspension. It also features standard four-wheel steering, which drastically improves maneuverability in tight parking spaces across Dubai and Riyadh.

RX500h vs Segment Rivals

Compared to the BMW X5 or Mercedes-Benz GLE, the RX 500h offers a more specialized hybrid approach that excels in stop-start urban traffic where European rivals can be less efficient. While rivals often charge extra for advanced safety tech, this Lexus comes standard with the full Safety System+ 3.0 suite. It also provides a quieter cabin experience and a more robust air conditioning system, a critical factor during peak summer months in the Gulf.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption for this hybrid powertrain typically averages around 8.6 L/100km, offering a significant range advantage for long cross-country drives compared to pure petrol SUVs. Lexus holds some of the strongest value retention in the GCC market, typically depreciating at a much slower rate than its German counterparts. Service is straightforward through the extensive authorized network available in every major GCC city, with major intervals typically occurring every 10,000 km.

Performance & Capability

The RX 500h delivers a combined 366 hp, enabling a 0–100 km/h sprint in just 6.2 seconds, which is remarkably quick for a luxury family SUV. The Direct4 all-wheel-drive system constantly shifts power to provide maximum grip on gravel-covered roads or during sudden lane changes on the highway. Drive modes allow you to switch from a fuel-saving Eco mode to a sharpened Sport S+ setting that firms up the suspension for more spirited driving.

Comfort & Cabin

The five-seat cabin is designed for GCC summers, featuring powerful multi-zone climate control and standard ventilated front seats to combat high temperatures. Rear passengers enjoy dedicated air vents and ample legroom for long trips between Abu Dhabi and Dubai. The 14-inch touchscreen is among the largest in its class, providing clear navigation and a 360-degree camera view that makes navigating narrow streets simple.

Safety

This trim is equipped with Lexus Safety System+ 3.0, which includes Pre-Collision System with Pedestrian Detection, All-Speed Dynamic Radar Cruise Control, and Lane Tracing Assist. These systems are particularly valuable on fast-moving GCC highways, helping to mitigate driver fatigue and monitor blind spots during high-speed travel. Additionally, the vehicle is equipped with a comprehensive airbag system and stability control specifically tuned for various road surfaces.

The bottom line

This is the ideal choice for a professional or family looking for the highest-performing Lexus SUV that offers low-mileage peace of mind and the best resale configuration available in the GCC.
