Summary

This GCC-spec Mitsubishi Outlander offers a highly practical seven-seat configuration, making it a versatile choice for growing families in the region. Finished in white, which remains the strongest resale color in the GCC market, this mid-trim crossover balances efficiency with enough cabin space for long cross-border drives. Its front-wheel-drive setup is optimized for city commutes and highway cruising between the Emirates, ensuring lower long-term running costs compared to heavier all-wheel-drive versions. The current mileage is relatively low for a modern SUV in the UAE, where high-speed highway driving is the norm, representing a significant buying advantage for those prioritizing mechanical longevity.

This Car vs Other 2025 Mitsubishi Outlanders

With just over 58,000 km, this Outlander sits well within the expected usage range for a family SUV in the GCC, where annual averages often reach 25,000 km due to frequent highway travel. The white exterior is the most sought-after color for local buyers, providing superior heat reflection during summer and ensuring a faster turnaround time when you decide to sell.

GLX MIDLINE vs Lower Trims

The GLX Midline trim upgrades the ownership experience over the basic GLX by adding essential creature comforts and improved interior materials that better withstand the local climate. Buyers typically value this trim for its balance of tech and value, offering a more refined cabin environment for seven passengers without the steep price jump of the Premium or Highline AWD variants.

Outlander vs Segment Rivals

Compared to rivals like the Toyota RAV4 or Honda CR-V, the Outlander offers a crucial advantage for larger families with its standard third-row seating. While the competition often leads in high-speed cornering, the Mitsubishi focuses on ride comfort and a spacious, flexible cargo area that is better suited for family road trips and weekly school runs.

Running Costs & Resale

With a manufacturer-claimed 6.9 L/100km combined fuel economy, the 2.5L powertrain is highly efficient for its size, particularly on steady 120 km/h highway stretches. Mitsubishi enjoys one of the most comprehensive service networks across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Oman, with parts being readily available and affordable. The Outlander historically maintains a strong residual value, typically retaining 60-70% of its original price after three years of ownership in the GCC.

Performance & Capability

The 2.5L MIVEC engine delivers a reliable 181 hp and 245 Nm of torque, providing smooth power delivery for overtaking on fast-moving highways like the E11. While this FWD model is road-biased, its 200 mm ground clearance allows it to handle gravel paths and speed bumps with ease. The CVT is tuned for maximum efficiency, ensuring a relaxed driving experience during heavy stop-start city traffic.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is designed to accommodate seven passengers across three rows, with the second row offering significant slide and recline adjustments for long-distance comfort. For the GCC summer, the air conditioning system is robust, featuring dedicated rear vents to ensure all passengers remain cool even in 45°C heat. Acoustic glass and improved insulation help keep the cabin quiet and isolated from road noise and desert crosswinds.

Safety

Standard safety for this trim includes front and side airbags, alongside essential electronic stability controls suited for sandy or slick surfaces. It features Anti-Lock Braking (ABS) and Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD), which are vital for maintaining control during emergency stops on high-speed roads. The Outlander's reinforced body structure provides peace of mind for family logistics across the GCC.

The bottom line

This Outlander is the ideal pick for a family buyer looking for a near-new seven-seater with the most liquid resale color and spec in the local market. It offers the perfect middle ground between features and affordability, backed by the reliability of the UAE's widest service network.
