Renault Koleos PE 2.5

Highlights

• 210 mm ground clearance
• 565 litres boot space
• Strong value retention in the GCC used market

Summary

This 2025 Renault Koleos PE is an exceptional find in the GCC market, offering a nearly-new ownership experience with mileage significantly below the regional annual average. Finished in white, the most sought-after color for heat reflection and resale liquidity in the UAE and Saudi Arabia, this SUV represents a smart alternative to more expensive Japanese rivals without sacrificing mechanical reliability. As a 2025 model, it benefits from the latest front-end styling updates including the new Renault emblem and signature C-shaped LED lighting. It is a highly practical choice for family life in the Emirates, combining French design flair with a robust 2.5L powertrain proven to handle high summer temperatures and long-distance highway hauls between cities.

This Car vs Other 2025 Renault Koleos

With just 12,936 km on the odometer, this unit is considered very low-mileage compared to the typical 25,000 km annual average seen across the UAE. The white exterior is a strategic advantage for GCC buyers, as it holds its value better than darker shades and remains cooler during peak summer months. It offers a clear buying benefit by providing the balance of a factory-fresh feel without the initial showroom price tag.

PE vs Lower Trims

The PE serves as the entry point into the Koleos range but remains surprisingly well-equipped for the local market, including essential GCC features like dual-zone automatic climate control and rear cooling vents. It adds significant daily utility over standard base crossovers with a standard rear-view camera and rear parking sensors to make urban parking in tight Dubai or Riyadh spaces effortless. The PE also features cruise control and speed limiter as standard, which are vital for maintaining steady speeds on the UAE’s long, camera-monitored highways.

Koleos vs Segment Rivals

The Koleos is often cross-shopped with the Toyota RAV4 and Nissan X-Trail, where it stands out by offering more generous rear legroom and a more premium European interior aesthetic at a more accessible price point. It shares its reliable 2.5L engine and chassis components with the X-Trail, ensuring that mechanical parts are widely available and well-understood by technicians across the region.

Running Costs & Resale

Fuel consumption is efficient for its size, averaging approximately 8.1 L/100km on a combined cycle, though GCC stop-start city traffic may see slightly higher figures. Service intervals are typically set at 10,000 km in the region, and Renault’s authorized service network is extensive across all major GCC cities including Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Riyadh. White GCC-spec Koleos models enjoy a stable depreciation curve, often retaining their value better than European luxury competitors in the same SUV segment.

Performance & Capability

The 2.5L 4-cylinder engine produces 170 hp, providing smooth and reliable power for daily commuting and highway overtaking. Its 210 mm ground clearance is generous for a front-wheel-drive crossover, allowing it to handle gravel tracks and unpaved parking areas with ease. The X-Tronic CVT is tuned for comfort, ensuring a refined experience during long drives across the Emirates or weekend trips to the mountains.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is designed for five passengers with a focus on long-distance comfort, featuring ergonomic seating and class-leading knee room for rear passengers. The dual-zone air conditioning is specifically engineered to handle the extreme GCC heat, ensuring all occupants stay cool regardless of the outside temperature. Storage is a strong point, with a large 565-litre boot that expands significantly when the 60/40 split rear seats are folded flat.

Safety

Safety is comprehensive on the PE trim, featuring a suite of airbags, ABS with emergency brake assist, and Electronic Stability Programme (ESP) with Hill Start Assist. The inclusion of ISOFIX child seat anchors and tyre pressure monitoring provides peace of mind for family buyers, while the robust construction has helped the model maintain high safety standards in international testing.

The bottom line

Perfect for a small family or professional seeking a stylish, low-mileage SUV that is easy to maintain and holds its value exceptionally well in the local market. This specific white GCC-spec unit is a standout opportunity for those wanting 2025-model benefits with significant savings over new.
