Summary

This 2025 Koleos PE offers an exceptional opportunity for GCC buyers seeking a nearly-new SUV with very low mileage for its age. Finished in high-resale White, this GCC-spec crossover delivers a refined driving experience thanks to its shared platform with the Nissan X-Trail, ensuring long-term mechanical reliability. It stands out in the segment for its impressive cabin space and competitive fuel efficiency, making it an ideal choice for both daily city commutes and weekend trips across the Emirates. For those prioritizing a modern family vehicle with strong value retention and an extensive local service network, this PE trim is a practical and stylish choice.

This Car vs Other 2025 Renault Koleoss

With just over 17,500 km on the odometer, this vehicle sits well below the typical 25,000 km annual average seen in the GCC market. The choice of White paint is a significant advantage for local resale, as it is the most sought-after color in the UAE and helps maintain a cooler cabin during peak summer months. Buying this model year allows you to benefit from the latest styling updates while avoiding the initial depreciation hit of a brand-new showroom unit.

PE vs Lower Trims

As the foundational trim for the 2025 model year, the PE comes surprisingly well-equipped with essential GCC features including a C-Shape LED daytime running light signature and dual-zone automatic air conditioning. Unlike basic entry-level rivals, it includes rear parking sensors and a cruise control system with a speed limiter as standard equipment. It provides a comfortable textile interior that is specifically designed to handle the region's high temperatures better than many synthetic leather alternatives.

Koleos vs Segment Rivals

The Koleos leads its closest rivals like the Toyota RAV4 and Nissan X-Trail in terms of standard ground clearance, offering 210 mm to safely navigate speed breakers and uneven desert tracks. While rivals often prioritize smaller turbocharged engines, the Renault’s naturally aspirated 2.5L unit is praised for its linear power delivery and proven durability in the extreme heat of the Gulf. It also offers more generous rear knee room than many European competitors in the mid-size SUV class.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel economy is rated at approximately 8.1 L/100km, which is highly competitive for a 2.5L engine in stop-start traffic in Dubai or Riyadh. Service intervals are typically scheduled every 10,000 km, and with Renault’s extensive authorized service network across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Oman, parts availability is excellent. Historically, GCC-spec Koleos models retain roughly 55-60% of their value after three years, performing well against non-Japanese rivals due to their shared mechanical DNA with Nissan.

Performance & Capability

Powered by a 2.5-litre 4-cylinder engine producing 170 hp and 233 Nm of torque, this FWD SUV is tuned for smooth highway cruising and efficient overtaking. The X-Tronic CVT transmission is designed to keep the engine in its most efficient power band, which is particularly useful for the long-distance drives between emirates. With a 60-litre fuel tank, you can expect a highway range of over 700 km, making it a reliable companion for cross-border road trips.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is focused on passenger space, comfortably seating five adults with class-leading rear legroom and reclining rear seats. The dual-zone climate control is engineered for the GCC, featuring dedicated rear vents to ensure all passengers stay cool during the summer months. Practicality is a highlight, with a boot that expands from 458 litres to a massive 1,690 litres when the rear bench is folded flat, easily accommodating large grocery hauls or outdoor gear.

Safety

This trim includes a comprehensive safety suite featuring Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Hill-Start Assist, and a Tyre Pressure Monitoring System. Occupants are protected by a multi-airbag system and a reinforced body structure that previously earned a 5-star Euro NCAP rating. Standard cruise control and a speed limiter help prevent accidental fines on the UAE’s highly regulated highway networks.

The bottom line

This 2025 Koleos is the perfect match for a family looking for a low-mileage, modern SUV that balances European design with the reliable running costs of a Nissan-based powertrain.
